Last night goes to show that without Fabregas in the holding we don't play nowhere near aswel. It might be tough in big games but if we need to create we need Fabregas holding with Matic. You have Willian, Cuadrado and Oscar for two of the 3 attacking options other than Hazard who have a great work rate. Oscars good defensively and he could drop Back to make a midfield 3 with good creativity and compact. I'd personally like to see a midfield 3 of Cuadrado-Willian-Hazard more often with Fabregas deeper and Costa forward that would have been a great counter attacking team last night if everyone was match fit.
Zouma needs to start every big game ahead of Cahill. His pace and heading ability are a great asset. He would have given Cavani and Ibrahimovic a real battle last night. Ibrahimovic is a monster and Terry was always guna struggle with him but it was mainly Cahills fault for the header.
I also think Filipe Luis should be left back ahead of Azpilicueta when we're chasing an away goal because he's better going forward.
Another defensive midfielder is needed next year who has a much better passing range than Ramires or Mikel. Schneiderlin would be good as HG. Veratti was fantastic last night. He's a real battler as much as I don't like him. He fights for every thing and is a quality passer. I really think Chalobah could be worth a try and be a good back up for Matic.
Maybe we should play the same formation like Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

ake, loftus-cheek and chalobah are all better than mikel. mikel is just a rubbish player and he knows it himself that's why he's not even complaining one bit sitting in the bench most of the time while being pat of a big club and getting good money. why would he?!

Wouldn't call mikel rubbish for what so ever reason, but I would have to say it's about time Ake got more playing time, I think he and Zouma are almost up to that level where they could start any game, they just need that little faith from the manager. Ake looks great we all going on about RLC but right here and now Ake looks really solid.

Becuase he's a quality player in what he does. I'd trust Mourinho's judgement and the people at Chelsea's Judgement over the people on here (including my self)

Quite ridiculous isn't it. You may have an opinion that he's a bad player, that's fine.
Respect him though. He plays for the shirt and Is a leader, I'll be very upset to see him go if he indeed does.
I however agree Ake needs games. Looks great whenever he has the chance.

I never said Mikel was rubbish I just said we need a holding player who offers more than him.

You all may have your own opinions about mikel but I only respect him as he is a chelsea player but that doesn't mean I can't think of him as a 'rubbish' chelsea player, especially when you compare him with the other chelsea players. its just my opinion of him I just want him to leave as he's been chilling at our club for too long and more importantly blocking the step for ake loftus cheek and chalobah to come in. I honestly think he's just not a good enough chelsea player!
That's fine we are all allowed opinions, I called Ramires poor the other hight hit I still respect and support him 100% :)
