Well you had your cup final on Monday back to normal on Saturday after all the embarrassing celebrations on Monday maybe your players were to tired

I had a great time on Monday actually, abusing Balotelli and Citys' ineptitude in the champions league was class in itself, going wild to madness at the end was another level. Delighted to be 'embarrassed'.

Nothing to do with money. Even though you look good for the league you flopped in the champions league. Should that really have happened with the squad you've assembled. The money is just highlighted like it does for us.

has anyone noticed that drogba and mata always wear the same boots?!

Doesnt mean anything..they are both contracted to Nike. if you look back, they have both been wearing the Nike Mercurials. part of the contract will be when a new pair get released, they will have to start wearing them. the purple ones yesterday have just been released, but if you saw, in the second half Drogba changed his boots back to his last ones.

Can you get two feet in one boot?

I'm an AVB fan but today I've got to say that he messed up big time and its not the first time. The 3 subs he made were bewildering, pointless and woeful. Why take off Romeu, Mata and Sturridge for our worst 3 players of Kalou, Mikel and Malouda?? Why leave Drogba on when he literally didn't do anything all game and leave Torres on the bench for the full 90 mins? If that was Torres he would have came off at half-time or after 60 mins. What exactly has happened because no matter what AVB says in the media, something has happened for him not to even play Torres for 10 mins. Lampard. What did he do all game? Did he have one shot? Set up one chance? I cant remember anything he did? So why leave him on? When will Josh get a chance to come on and show what he can do if in a game when we are shocking, the player he can replace is shocking, we are looking for some creativity, and we're playing relegation material, he STILL stays on the bench? Today was just mistake after mistake. I remember a game against Fulham away from home, after 25 mins Mourinho brought off SWP and Joe Cole, i cant remember if we won the game but the point is he saw something was not working and changed it straight away. What did AVB do today? We didn't respect Wigan as a team and shown them contempt, believing all we had to do was turn up.

The most frustrating and disappointing thing about today was the team we finished with. A front six of Lampard, Mikel, Meireles, Kalou, Malouda and Drogba. Is it any surprise Wigan took control of the game and got the equaliser when we finished with these players? Same old Chelsea of the last 4/5 years, so disappointing.

All i can hope is that after today AVB has realized he cannot rely on these so called 'big experienced players', and starts to slowly get rid of them one by one. This season is a right off for me, every fan i speak to agrees that for this season we just have to accept that we are in transition and not expect any trophies. I hope some of the younger guys get a chance so that they have the experience to push on next season even more and play a big part.

Anyway guys, today was disappointing, but on the bright side it has highlighted just how poor our old guard is and this can only be a good thing in the future.

Jury still out on the young manager, but we have to hope that once the transition of players is further on things will be more consistent?

Absolutely shocked that AVB actually wanted to hold on to the one goal lead rather than keep mata and Sturridge to finish them off.

Avb should have taken off drogba instead of sturridge thats the one decision i feel he get it wrong
