Fantastic performance tonight! Everyone's talking Barca have plenty of ball possession,shots etc but Goals win you games step forward Drogba who had a great game and took his goal well! Anythings possible at the Nou Camp score a goal and who knows what will happen. Proud of my team just Believe!

United fan. So happy you beat those Barca, and it was nice to see Drogba giving them a bit of their own medicine. Drogba was man of the match for me, his Defensive covering and his goal were great. Going to be twice as hard in Barcelona, but Chelsea are surprising everyone this season. Good luck.

Great tactics by Di Matteo and a great display by all the players.They came close to score two or three times but we held up well.It is job half done though, I believe we will have to score there and change our tactics a bit as the pitch there is bigger.Lets hope we keep this up.

Delighted with the performance tonight. Specialemtion for Ashley Cole who was outstanding! Drogba really let himself down in the 1st half (apart from the goal). Ramires was decent JT and Cahill both solid. Slightly dissapointed in Mata, I think he needs to improve his big game performances.

It's still gonna be incredibly hard in Barcelona but if we nick an away goal we have a great chance. Another
great night courtesy of RDM!!

Thing is with Mata mate hes one of them players that needs the ball at his feet to make an impact, thats just his game, he did alright in closing down etc when we havent got much possesion there isnt much he can do

Immense display, cant believe how well Cahill played then, he had Messi in his pocket, Cole was flawless, JT and Ivanovic really solid. Cech outstanding. Perfect tactics. Thats the last 6 times Barca have failed to beat us. They aint invinsible. To all our our fans writing us off on here shame on you. Regardless of the second leg proud times to be a Chelsea fan

I think this is the first time I've ever posted on the Chelsea page.

I'm not one of these United fans that hate Chelsea, I don't agree with how you've won the league in the past but now you're trying to build a credible team/squad and not 11 superstars so I don't mind you guys :).

Although I don't like you, but in the same way I don't like Arsenal. You don't receive the same level of hate I have for Liverpool and City.

Anyway! all I came to say is I'm impressed with the way you guys have played tonight and you've really defended well, plus you've taken your chances up top as well. so well done for that. As for Drogba rolling all over the place, well Biscuits, Messi, Pedro, Villa and Sanchez do it every week in La Liga when things aren't going their way. So sod it! Karma!! haha.

In a earlier post pinky puts Luiz holding in a 442 then has the nerve to slate me for putting Torres right side for tonight's game saying why play a player out of position! When in fact Torres has played from the right in a few games , when has Luiz played the holding pole?

Don't wanna make it seem like I'm picking sides in this feud but Melbourne has a point. Pinky m8 u are too negative and in my opinion u are more of a sadist than a realist. We have been playing better since RDM came in but u always seem to give negative posts. For u to say we are going down the same path as liverpool is just sad and disheartening. The season isn't over and you somehow believe we won't make top 4 , don't forget we are only 2 points away so how about u have a little faith in the team. And for the summer targets don't worry cause Roman has a way of getting who he wants and we would be just fine as always .it might not be di maria or cavani but I assure u we would get someone that would improve the team . Torres on right to get at puyol.
If didi's up for it like he was on Sunday then he's more than capable of sorting out mascareno and piqué.
Think we may lack abit of energy in the middle with my line up which could be a problem with the way they knock the ball about.
Mata needs to turn up tonight as apart from 2nd half Sunday I think he's not been to special for last 4/5 games.

Come on ladies, come down now, would you. We are all entitled to our own opinions. I think we will play the same tactics as we did against Spurs. Madrid plays it when they do against Barca and Levante just did.

4-2-3-1, shifting to flat 5 middle or 4-4-1-1. But it is just a floating change of formation with the same peronel.

RDM wont employ 4-3-3. So surely no Sturridge on the right. Thre could be Ramires, though.

I guess everyone expects Cech to start and our backline to be Cole JT Cahill Brana. I would not be shocked if it actually happens to be Cole JT Brana Bosingwa. As much as i was worried about him against Bale, it wasn't good, but wasn't bad performance either. Thats for Robbie to call.

The middle will either be in no particular order Mata-Lamps-Obi-Kalou and Ramires, or Mata-Lamps-Obi-Essien/Meireles-Ramires.

That only leaves Drogba up front. It makes more sense than Torres, because we will just baloon it towards him and wont get into the battle for possesion on the ground.

And pinky, this is not some damn cliche, that if you fall out of top4 - you justfall the Liverpool way. Arsenal was out of top4, lost all of their starrs, but RVP and are back in the summit.

Liverpool are just a bunch of idiots, whom you can't help in their team building. We give them so much money to make a decent squad and they keep on buying the Hendersons and Adams of the world. They spend over 100 million and bought s**t. For the same amount of money theycould have had completely different set up and results.

Why can't you understand that Spurs or Arsenal or Liverpool have no chance in the world in competing with us for players if we or them are in the CL or Europa League or any. The only teams on par or above us in that respect are Barca and Real, Milanese, Mancs and Munich. Can't you realize that?

If Spurs advance to CL and we and them are for someone like Hazard -you think they will get him at their wage scale of 80K tops? Don't be ridiculous. As long as Roman is around every player and agent in the world understands that we are a force. You can keep on worrying about them players, but trust me - we will come good.

I think you forget that we play 60 odd games a season and need what is called a squad! We can't let that many players leave!

- Lampard - how can you say he needs to leave at the end of the season? In my opinion, his performances since AVB has gone have been vital to where we are now and the experience he brings is essential.

- Bosingwa/Malouda/Hilario/Ferreira - I agree these guys need to go although I believe one of the right backs will stay.

- Mikel - Never been his biggest fan but he certainly does a job for us at times and again since AVB has gone seems to be playing a lot better and adds stability to our defence.

Drogba - I think he prob will go but how anyone can be happy about letting such a player leave is beyond me even at his age. I've been a season ticket holder for nearly 20 years and he's the best striker I've ever seen at the bridge. He has formed the way we have played for the last 6-8 seasons with his power etc. and I can't see anyone else in the world who does that job so well. Look at the way he made Gallas look like an even bigger tw*t at the weekend - Always a legend in my books.

I agree with the guys you think should go out on loan next season although I think De Bruyne will stay for the season like Lukaku to get him settled and depending on pre-season he may get a couple of chances.

GK (Courtois come back from loan and get a few games).

MC/AMC
AML
AMR
SC

If I'm honest, I'm not 100% on who I would like to see come in but any of the following would be amazing:

Hazard, Falcao, Cavani, Hamsik, Lavezzi, Witsel, di Maria, Van der Weil, Azpilicueta.

Would love to see some young english talent although I'm not sure if there are many away from the top 4 who we would snap up at a decent price.

PS- They wouldn't sell Modric last year why would they now??? Pato is one the most overated players on the planet!!!!
