Love bats but not good enough, Cahill is useless, fab is finished, Willian is average at best. I’m not being negative just cos we lost but because these things are true and I’ve always said them throughout the season.
We need someone who is world class, to take the pressure off hazard and boost our team. Instead of spending £30/ 40 m on an average player, spend £100m on someone like dybala, Griezmann, lemar etc. We need another class striker to add more threat going forward and an attack minded midfielder as fab is finished imo. Our wig backs are solid but not immense. They’re good backups but if we can get players lien Florenzi and Sandro I’d be very happy. It’s a lot to ask but it’s possible with the money we have so why not invest in a world class team.
