Is this situation really a surprise, we knew we had a striker who has lost it.
The manager was sacked from his last job for playing wide open football and his team were being ripped apart week after week. With the odd good result. Sound familiar!
Then AVB hires him as his number 2, why, because they both share the same footballing philosophy play wide open attacking football without any thought about defending. {Ed002's Note - AVB did not hire him.}

We have had huge games in the last couple of weeks. (Spuds,arsenal,utd x2,shaktar x2,juventus and city to come ). Apart from the two games against shaktar we have held our own and bossed a lot of those games. I still think we need replacements for our best 3 players over the last ten years in terry,lampard and drogba. Torres was supposed to take over from didier but sadly it hasnt worked out for both parties. Lampard who's days look numbered as injuries and age catch up with him. Terry i think has got more years in him also we dont seem to look as solid without him. Let us not forget we have a lot of quality young players at the club and are going through huge changes in terms of players and a different style of football. We are still in top three, which would not be a bad finishing position. We have a huge chance to take control of champions league group next week. Its not actually that bad considering where we were last year with AVB,and look how last season ended. A few points i would like to say is david luiz does not fill me with confidence in defence. Mikel good squad player and much improved but doesnt really give enough to the team. Torres is a shadow of his formerself. I also believe since the clattenberg incident we have had a few decisions go against us in terms of penaltys.
I also believe di matteo has done a great job last season and is doing a good job now but i believe him will be replaced no matter what happens this year. I think guardiola or mourinho will come in the summer.

ED002 a question for you AS reports today Guardiola has 4 offers from Man City Arsenal Bayern Munich and AC Milan but say's chelsea have not yet decided on the future of RDM say if AC Milan make a move for him would Chelsea stand back and let him join them? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea has a manager already.}

Why don't we just try feruz out as a striker? Couldn't do much worse than Torres unless he scored a hat trick of ogs. In know he's only 17 but it worked for Liverpool with sterling didn't it? Wouldn't play him against juve but against the next lower table team.

Jordan

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Yeah we could do that but he is only 17 so i doubt he can play every match, but could play him for a few games rest him and play Sturidge/Moses upfront.

This should solve our problem at least until January. Azpi, Cahill, Ivanovic, Cole, (Defence); Luiz, Remires (Pivot); Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Sturidge (Attack). Others can make the bench and interchange when necessary.
Bas!cs.

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Luiz in midfield no thx.

Di matteo can see the players who are keeping this team back. He needs to grow some balls and change.
Mikel, sturridge, Torres, have got to be dropped and shot of. Our best players are attacking ones so play to their strengths.
Cech
Azpilicueta Ivan Cahill cole.
Ramires Oscar
Hazard mata Marin
Moses.

Best form of defence is attack!

Believable3 Unbelievable5

I think Sturidge is better than Moses in attack, he looked quite well today if he had some more games to better link up with the new players and stop to play so selfish he wud have scored 1-2 goals and assisted 2-3 today.

Agree4 Disagree0

Harsh, Mikel has been really decent in the past few games. Torres on the other hand gets worse every game and fr me doesn't deserve to wear the blue jersey. he is poor and we should get rid as soon as possible. Bring on juve.

P.S. Who else misses Drogs, cause I know I do.

ELI

Agree4 Disagree1

Yes Torres its garbage. Amazing how everyone in the team had a shot on the goal but Torres today, he really needs to start playing with the reserve team if he can mangae that if not on the stands.
We have to give Sturidge some games cause he is the best one we have.

And Mikel he plays "ok" but he is not the optima player, we need one who can quickly pass the ball forwards, run back quick and defend (instead of stop running when he is behind the defender chasing him), and have the ability to see the moves coming before its done. Mikel is no doubt good enough to be a squad player but he is not good enough to be our starting player.

Make this Cech last season , he his a liability too long with Mikel

Believable5 Unbelievable9

Cech isn't the same keeper as he was a few seasons ago. One hell of a keeper but maybe its time to bring Courtois back and maybe give him a go for a while with Cech as No2.

Would love to see Paulinho come replace Mike,l and switch between Cech and Courtois next season so he get some of the more easier games to start with in PL.

Our team is just as talented, actually more talented than Man Utd and Man City...........What the hell is going wrong ? Starting to think that RDM just isn't the man for the job. Now it would'nt shock me if we went out of the Champions League and dropped to 4th or 5th in the league. Mikel, Luiz and Torres should be on the bench and trying to make it into the team rather than be 1st choice week in week out.
Always stick with them and support them but feeling really disappointed with RDM now.
Paul

Believable6 Unbelievable1

What's going wrong is RDM has managed the team one bit, he's just relying on the skill of mata hazard and Oscar. {Ed018's Note - he needs a forward who can score. Plain and simple}

Agree3 Disagree0

Same only see Guardiola or Mourinho who can win us the league let's be honest it was Cech and Drogba that won us the champs league not Di Matteo as much as I like the guy

Agree7 Disagree1

We need more than just a striker, we need a couple of strong disciplined midfielders who can compete with the best and control games for us.
I like the look of Strootman at PSV and De Bruyne who we have on loan at Bremen.
Also 4231 is not working for us.
Mata has carried us this season and without Terry our defence is a nightmare.

Agree2 Disagree0

Yes we need a striker. But what I'm sayin is that RDM hasn't trained the team, all the players under avb are the same their not gelling quick enough. Why play Mikel and Romeu? It's a joke. One or the other. Who ever said keep sturridge get a life he's just as bad! Mikel, sturridge torres need to be replaced.

Agree2 Disagree1

Yes we should get a striker and defensive midfielder, would love to see Paulinho & Falcao to replace Torres and Mikel, recall Lukaku and KDB to be back up, Ramires havent been playing optimal here the last few games.
Apart from Torres/Mikel/Luiz the rest of the team actually try hard but i still think RDM does something wrong with the tactics and the play he wants them to play.

But until January we should play sturidge instead of Torres, he is so much more of a threat so the defenders actually have to play attention to him and he can shoot at the goal :o

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Nov 2012 18:09:00
Do whatever it takes to get Falcao and Ramos in January. A cheeky bid for Charlie Austin or testing an offer for Jordan Rhodes (Despite just moving to Blackburn).
Move Luiz forward to the midfield, Hazard down the middle, Mata on the left and Oscar on the right.
Then we have a squad worthy winning the league and other trophies.
CFCFOREVER! {Ed018's Note - Ramos is not gonna happen, let's just hope Falcao finds a way to Chelsea}

Believable6 Unbelievable2

What about someone like Jagielka? Any chance of a CB?
EH17 {Ed018's Note - very doubtful. To me the plan is to start integrating Chalobah next season}

Agree4 Disagree0

Sounds a good plan. Him, Ake and Kalas are talented.
EH17

Agree6 Disagree1

We've got great centre backs in Cahill and Ivanovic, Luiz is a liability we need a leader more than anything like Chiellini or Hummels who can replace Terry.

Agree6 Disagree1

Oscar should play in the middle, not on the side you saw today Hazard played worse in the middle so he had Sturidge play there after 30min.

Agree2 Disagree1

Oscar is excelent in the middle because its the best place where he can defend and help get the ball, since Hazard dont defend its not gonna happend he didnt play very well in there today either. Also i think one other reason why hes in the middle, is cause of his ability to pass the ball around to both sides.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed but chalobah more of a midfielder, akes bnetter choice for cb, i love that player, what a talent and kalas plays rb now

can someone please help me here! i sit there watching chelsea and ive got my head in my hands trying to work out how on earth players like luiz mikel and torres all get a game! ok mabe i can handle it if they played once in a while BUT the gettin a start every bloody game! them 3 players would not get into any top team across europe and yet they all playing for my team that i love every week! david luiz i just havent got the words to express how i feel about the bloke and same goes for torres! disgusted!kevinCFC

Believable8 Unbelievable1

It's a joke, Moses is a also no where near Chelsea standards, start playing Marin he is a class act. And he will hog the by line and not keep coming centre it's what we need, Oscar back with ramires.

Agree2 Disagree3

Sorry to say but Ramires havent played too well lately either, maybe he is tired as **** too or just have to help Mikel more than he should. i would like to see Paulinho to replace Mikel he is a beast for Brazils national team and have played with Ramires alot of times.

17 Nov 2012 17:30:26
As far as I see it, poor result decent performance.
All we lack is a striker. Sturridge was promising in the sense that he looked to get in behind and mata did well to link up. All we needed was Ivan for luiz and falcao for Torres. Not gonna get too down

Jm10 {Ed018's Note - only Falcao wasn't avalible haha. They have to get him here one way or another}

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Ed are we going to push to get falcao in January or in summer.. Torres out his got his trophies and lukaku Sturridge llorente/hunteelar falcao, we need to compete with UTD city {Ed002's Note - If he is available for the right price in January, Chelsea will be one of the clubs interested in signing Falcao.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Thank you, yeah I could see Madrid asking bit more for him half way through season, had llorente still not signed a contract with Bilbao either? He would be gd addition to, {Ed002's Note - Fernando Llorente is continuing to interest Juventus, Spurs, Manchester City and Arsenal. Chelsea dropped their interest and I suspect that other clubs would be scared off by a transfer fee of more than £25M being asked by Athletic Bilbao if anybody wishes to buy the player in January. There is a very good chance that he will move next year although there have been talks with Juventus over a January move. Interest from Atletico Madrid is ramping up. Athletic Bilbao say they are under no pressure to sell in January but I would suspect that he could stillmove then - but at a much lesser fee. Arsenal still maintain a very strong interest in Adrian Lopez as well. Llorente's alternatives will be to sign a pre-contract in January for a summer move or to sign a new deal with Bilbao.}

For months i have been on this site slagging off Torres, sometimes you all agree, sometimes you all seem to love him, such is the fickleness of being a football fan. (by the way i'm not slating you lads, it's just a fact, football fans are fickle)

I think we can all now agree that this muppet needs to go. Awful attitude, doesn't shoot, can't dribble, can't pass, shocking finishing when he actually gets in a position.

January
In:
Falcao (£48m) - must buy
Then one of
Bony, Llorente or Huntelaar (£10m)

Out:
Torres to anyone who will take him (£15m)
I think we should keep sturridge but if he's not gonna sign a contract we'll need to ship him off to Liverpool/Spuds/Arse (£10m)

In an ideal world we'd give Atletico £30m and Torres but with their financial problems i would think they'd just want the cash. Also they'd find a better replacement for Falcao in the 4th division of the Greek League.

Tried to keep this one shorter than my normal lengthy rants.

Keep sturridge? F off he's just as bad. He's a big headed tit, I wanna play centre forward then fluff 4 chances get out. We need 3 new strikers maybe 2 depending on lukaku. Plus Mikel needs to be shown the door. Talk about dwelling on the ball when we could attack, absolute joke. Azpilicueta looks good though!

Roberto got to go great player rubbish manager are problems are we can't score really struggling and he leaves mata Oscar on bench what's that all about

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Resting players for Juve. Ffs everyone calls for rotation and it... I'm going to give up on a losing battle. Don't know how you are managing ed018

Melbourne CFC {Ed018's Note - I'm fine. Everyone can complain and blow off some steam. 2 things from me from this match and I was fine with the rotation. First I'm concerned with why we are conceding goals every match. The days of the clean sheet are gone. Secondly, I've made it very clear what forward I want but at this point they have got to buy a forward who can put the ball in the back of the net. I don't care about assists, work rate or any other garbage people come up with to defend our forwards. I want someone who scores, that's what forwards do}

Agree2 Disagree1

I agree completely mate. Some people on here seem to think Nando doesn't get good service, but he doesn't get into position to make himself a viable option. I can't think of a striker in the world that wouldn't want to play infront of Hazard, Mata and Oscar.

If we are going to keep playing with the fullbacks up the pitch, making overlapping runs and crossing frequently, we need a player that can head the ball into the net, as well as play off the shoulder of the last defender.

We have the creativity to give a striker 3-4 clear cut changes a game, if that striker is intelligent. I know where you stand on Falcao, and it seems unlikely in Jam due to the amount being asked, but do you think if we are still struggling in a months time, Roman will break the bank, or still hold firm on not overspending? Do you consider Bony good enough?

I recall talking to you about the November troubles we always seem to have, haven't gone away yet have they! Look forward to your response.

Melbourne CFC {Ed018's Note - I have been trying to find out as much as I can about Bony the last few days and unfortunately it hasn't been much. He is a physically strong forward and has found the goal quite a bit this season and it sounds like Chelsea will make a push for him in January and at this point ill gladly take him. I still say they need to do whatever possible to get Falcao}

Agree2 Disagree1

It was the completely wrong rotation though! Two holding mids. Sturridge wide. Unbelieveable! What about marko Marin! He's class on the ball.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Nov 2012 17:06:06
Moses is worse than Kalou. when Kalou played he did well not brilliant but did well, i think Moses may look quicker but he isnt a smart player and in a team full or clever ball players like Mata hazard and Oscar he looks out with depth and very average!

One bomb TOm

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Come off it mate, Kalou was hopeless. Yes he popped up with the old goal or two but he was terrible on the ball, he couldn't pass a drivers test, let alone to a team mate, and couldn't defend. Moses played his heart out today, just didn't have the end product that we desperately needed.

It really surprises me, well it use to, the fickleness on here. After Shaktar game he was a master, now he is no better than Kalouless? Everyone has been crying out for rotation, and for some players to get a start, then when they do and don't play out of their skins they get slated.

Any player that wears the blue deserves our support. Even Fernando, only 2 months left of blind faith before we can bid him farewell.

Melbourne CFC

Agree4 Disagree1

My point was more I don't believe he is good enough to be playing a full 90mins, far more effective as a impact sub

Agree2 Disagree0

Moses did absolutely fine today. Should have had a penalty. Not spectacular, but by no means our worst player.

Romeu, Sturridge and Torres were completely ineffectual. Mikel was ever so slightly better. Luiz and Cahill looked shaky. Until Oscar and Mata came on it was not a team performance.

On a positive note, I thought Azpilcuetta played well.

IB.

Agree4 Disagree3

As did I, IB. Far more solid all round than Ivan has been this year. Offers something going forward, while not forgetting his defensive responsibilities. I think Romeu needs to BR given a run in the first team alongside Rami for the next little while. He has something special, is just lacking some confidence at the moment and we could really hinder his progress if we continue to drop him after a game.

To the no-name poster, I agree with you on that, but he was starting for one of his first times for Chelsea, and didn't have anyone other than Hazard and Bertrand to link up with. I think if he is given a go with Juan, Hazard and Oscar (in the pivot) he will excell. He has the ability to beat a man at ease and is a good finisher, just had an off day IMO.

Melbourne CFC

Agree3 Disagree1

Romeu was better than Mikel atleast he intercepts {Ed018's Note - problem is they are to similar}

West Brom are an extremely well set up team. They hold there shape brilliantly. RDM decided to rest players, as Juve is coming up and is far more important. He finally rotates the squad and still people have digs at him.

Sturridge has had more then one chance to level the scores and couldn't deliver, although he was far and away better then Fernando. Who in my opinion is hindering our play more than any other player. He isn't a striker, he isn't a midfielder, he isn't good enough.

I think the lose of JT is really showing on the team. As much of a supporter I've been of Luiz, I can no longer justify him getting a start. Far to complacent. Ivan needs to be played in his natural position of CB alongside Cahill.

We applied enough pressure to get a result, but it didn't go our way today. This are the results that separate the Champions from 2nd-4th. We are a year, and a top striker away from winning the league.

Bring on Juve!

17 Nov 2012 17:02:12
To sumerise,

Chelsea as a team played well, we was unlucky with the 2 goals conceded with poor defending to blame on both occasions, Luiz is a poor defender that is obvious, and Bertand was caught of of position, i feel if Terry and Ashley Cole played we wouldn't have conceded these sloppy goals.
As for going forward without Mata we don't create, Torres is as much use as a endless Condom,
If Strurridge played as our number 1 striker he wouldn't have scuffed the chanced he'd be more confident.

So to finalize, Torres has no use being in a Chelsea Shirt ever again, and we arent a top side without Mata.

One Bomb Tom

How is that unlucky, that is just bad play and does not deserve to win games.

We got what we wanted.. Rotation and Sturridge on and romeu..
Sturridge couldn't finish his dinner
Torres has given up or just lost it completely
And until at least January when we get two strikers in we will carry on dropping away from top 4,, I'd get in falcao and hunteelar, we all want falcao and tired will be going other way and hunteelar as he is great finisher and will not be too costly! I'm dreading CFC v juve

Believable3 Unbelievable2

To be honest I've never wanted sturridge rotated. Moses up front and Marin to play.

Agree2 Disagree1

Problem is that Matteo dont know how to play the subs, Romeu/Mikel in the pivot.... really its 3rd time he does it and it fails everytime, it needs to be with Oscar/Ramires and one or another. Sturidge on the right wing just so we can have Torres playing? no thx, the defenders dont even need to mark him cause he isent a threat at all just a dummy.

I would like to know what you guys think, who's fault is it RDM or the players? I am struggling to work this one out because Torres is non existent and Sturridge isn't a great finisher.
David Luiz gives silly fouls and positions badly and we need a leader on that pitch.
However what does RDM do on the training ground, we concede silly goals, shot to goal ratio is awful, and we don't get back quickly or pressure a team well.

Sorry for the rant but us not buying a striker is costing us, 4 games without a win in the league, we saw this in Ancelotti's 2nd season and AVB last season around this time....I don't understand it.

A11

Believable5 Unbelievable0

The way we defend us a joke, ivanovic and Cahill CB and Luiz with Ramires in pivot,,

Sturridge has no composure and its not due to lack of playing times all his goals bar the one v qpr last year are Tao in in 6 yard box and Torres is waiting til January

What can you do when you throw everything at a team, dominate possession, a keeper who has the game of his life, wave after wave of attack and nothing for it. Topped off by three blatant penalties and a shot cleared off the line.
Just one of those days I think.
Chalk that one down to WBA getting every bit of luck all game, hammered them for 45 minutes and just couldn't get the break. Need to see a response in the league, next week needs to be a good win. Ah well, put it out of the mind, sort out the back four, work on defending aerial crosses and lets go and get a good result in Turin.
CFCFOREVER!

Believable10 Unbelievable2

When you concede 19 goals in 9 games you cannot put it down to bad luck, We are shambolic at the moment. CAnt defend and struggle to score more than 1 goal a game.
Wrong system and wrong use of players.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Nov 2012 16:55:54
So sturidge has cost us 2 goals (win) today because he cannot pass to his friends instead of shooting on goals every chance he get and god knows how much Torres has cust us. anyway apart from that he has done 10 times better than Torres has in the last 10 games, and i hope we get him to play for us instead of Torres cause he is far better player.
And i am gutted we need to get us to 75min before we start playing decently, i know we didnt have Oscar and Mata in but we had good players on the pitch too and they should play decently and score goals.

Di Matteo needs to start making some decent tactics and some good substitudes cause this is rubbish we cannot lose to Liverpool,Swansea,West brom, this are all clearly teams we should roll over and win with alot of goals and if Luiz is gonna be involved in every goal we condede like this way then dont use him.
If this is not fixed soon Di Matteo is gone by January and that he can only blame himself for, cause lately he has been giving very poorly management.

Firstly.. I really can't believe the amount of crosses we put in today? Do the wingers and full backs realise Drogba doesn't play for us anymore? With Moses putting the balls in - often poorly - we had no presence in there at all. Maybe if we'd spent more time working more central shooting positions we'd have got more luck? Who knows..

I don't actually think that we played too badly overall. It's a shame to me that it took us removing Torres to actually gives a kick up the backside. Torres lacked the cutting edge again today - virtually non-existent for long periods. When Sturridge was moved in to the middle and linked up with Mata and Oscar that looked promising. Actually impressed with John Obi Mikel.. definitely impressed with Azpilicueta.

The worst thing about our performance today was defensively.. as expected. West Brom had 2 real opportunities and scored 2 goals. Every time the ball was hoofed long to Shane Long West Brom fans were expectant. 1 striker playing against 2 international centre backs and they still fancied Long to come off better. More often than not he did too. Really missed Ashley at left back. Defensively Bertrand was lacking a bit for me and going forward he was non-existent until the 2nd half. Not good enough.

Need to sort these things out before Turin.

Ok this is it. Torres is history. We all thought some midfield quality would do it but we were wrong. Also, results are going last year's way. RDM will be replaced by Pep if these results continue. Not sure if RDM is related to master Yoda but he seems to think by just thinking things the players will hear them. Proitos

How can we expect penalties after the Clattenburg accusations. We won't get anything now we need to dig and to get results. The refs train with each other and are mates. How would you feel if someone had a go at one of your mates and his career could be over?

Mate they are professionals. If they feel it is a penalty they will give it. How would it look if we were getting a lot of calls going our way? Works both ways. We cannot blame them for us not getting points. As much as some would like to believe, there is no conspiracy against us.

It is appalling how hard we have to create chance, and how easy they can do it in this game.
Everytime we shoot the ball into the box Torres just stands still and make no threat at all, and everytime he get played in the feets he just throw it away just like Mikel when he goes forward. Sturidge has been a much higher threat this 1st half than Torres has looked the last two games.
And Luiz i just dont know what to say why do we even play him when he just looks like he dont care and dont even consentrate.
If chelsea dont win this game i am really gonna doubt Di Matteo's coaching, lately here after the trio has been tired weve won abselutely nothing and he just kept playing them without a plan B. If he dosent start to rotate and rest the players so they are ready and rested for the big games, he wont be a manager in the next season if he dosent fix his flaws.

Duus.

One would suggest resting big players is exactly what he's doing today.

Get rid of Luiz and Torres and scrap this new system it does not work!
2 points from the last 12 what a joke!
We cant defend and are struggling to score goals, midfield non existant.

Chalobah just scored for Watford! Romeu great passer but can't tackle for for sh*t!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Chalobah will be a top player, only 17

Well Mikel aint exactly a TOP defensive midfielder and Romeu hardly gotten any play time and when he does he get switched out at half. we need one like Paulinho and have Mikel as a squad player. Trust me if Guardiola comes he is not gonna play Mikel. {Ed002's Note - Guardiola?}

I am so sick and tired of Luiz and i dont get why they dont soon kick him down to the reserves, until he can consentrate on the match when he plays it cause he is just an extra burden on the team and its been like this for the whole season.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Romeu can't tackle mikel can't pass and Luiz can't concentrate... PUT LUIZ IN OUBOT ROLE. He can pass bomb forward and score and will not be last man and cost us goals !!!!!!

Those that wanted some rotation have got their wish. Now you can pick apart the choices RDM has made. IMO Ramires should start, but very glad to see Romeu starting. Pleased to see Moses start aswell but with Sturridge on the right, I can see us playing very narrow with both him and Moses cutting in. Up the blues

I'm pleased, Moses Torres and Sturridge all staring and romeu..

Yes its nice to see them all start, but it might just be abit too many and the pivot i think we need to have ramires there instead of Mikel.

Ed, if Chelsea do purchase Falcao in january, would it be possible for us to play a 4-1-3-2 formation? With Ramires CDM, Mata, Hazard and Oscar CAM's, and Falcao supporting Torres? I feel that could be the winning formula, because the way Torres is playing at the moment, looks like he needs Falcao's style of support, with him supplying crosses and trying to play others in etc? What are your thoughts? {Ed002's Note - I am sorry but I have no thoughts about "formations" at all.}

I'm not sure if memory serves me correctly, but didn't Hazard have his outstanding run when he was played in his preferred central (No 10) position?

I know it's a fluid attacking 3, but when Mata was being rested and Oscar was been tested, Hazard started centrally.

Maybe it's a psychological thing, I'm not sure.

Your thoughts?

Craig

I dont know really, he hasent played very well for quite a while but a injury could explain it all.

Agree0 Disagree2

It goes without saying we need a deadly striker once and for all but I am also worried about our back. Luiz is a timebomb and Terry's better days are behind him which leaves us with Cahil and Ivan. If Cole leaves via January we are in big trouble as Bertrand not ready for it all alone yet. I believe we need a quality striker, a quick transitional pivot and a quality young centre back or left back as well if we lose Cole. Will not win Premier or Champions with what we have now if we lose Cole. I love the Blues but am realistic as well. Your thoughts....

Agree0 Disagree0

We need not one but two strikers if we are going to win premier and/or champions. We need a quality striker like Falcao/Cavani/Lewondowski/Jovetic and a next level striker like Huntelaar,Remy etc. If we are going to compete with Man U, City etc we need at least 3 strikers plain and simple and I don't mean the likes of Sturridge but proven striker talent. We need to be able to go to a 4-3-3 or similar when called upon. How many games do we city both Manchester's win later in game as they bring in striker reinforcements and forge ahead for the winning goal. We can be content to be competitive or get 2 strikers and make a serious run at winning league and defending our Euro championship!! C'mon Roman we need you to make it happen for us!!! {Ed018's Note - 2 strikers is the plan, but it might not happen in January}
