Of course I do not no this for sure but it looks as though the top 3 targets are something like
Cavani
Cesar
Oscar
In my opinion these signings would complete us a a
Team with immense strength in depth to compete for 7 trophies
However, it looks as though there are also like for like respective replacements (I.e. second choices). To me these should be
Jovetic/ schurlle
Pizkek
Hulk
Obviously the first choice players would be ideal but I for one will not be complaining if we settled for 1 or 2

ed i'd just like to ask a question about the defence. has di matteo (or anyone at the club for that matter) ever considered, or be willing to think about, playing david luiz in midfield. i think this would easily solve our issues with a holding mid as he can obviously defend but can also spot a pass and run with the ball - something romeu and obi cannot. then, with a new right back, chalobah could be a fourth choice CB? or a new cheap one would be signed? thoughts guys?
All we gotta do is try. i think it would work! you dont see many strikers finish goals lik luiz can

What does everybody think the lineup will be for the first game of the season? will marin and hazard play on the wing with mata just behind a stiker(torres or cavani)?
If I had to go off the guys we have today I'd say hazard mata sturridge. With oscar sturridge has some competition but that would involve mata or hazard sliding as I think Oscar is more of a central player.

Make no mistake this Gazprom partnership is a huge deal for the club. They already reportedly pay schalke around 15mill per year and with Roman Abramovich previously owning shares in this company its not out of the question for this deal to be around the 20-30 mill a year mark. Expect the press and rival fans to kick up a fuss when they realise Roman has previously been involved with this company. They will all scream foul play no doubt. Happy days

I think that formation will be 4-2-1-2-1 or 4-3-3,simply it is hard to sign Hulk&Cavani.

Hey Ed. Either the search function is a bit sh*t or I am using it wrong. Whenever I search for a player I get what seemingly looks like shopping lists of players that people would like Chelsea to sign. How do I get your input which is all I really require from the site. Scrolling through endless lists of people's Football Manager fantasies is very soul destroying.

Really hope the cavani rumour is true, £35m well spent if we pull it off. To my knowledge we have pulled out of a deal to sign hulk, which I am happy about as he does not work hard enough for the team. I don't believe signing someone like Oscar is a priority this season( but would be nice). I'm a huge fan of Torres but sometimes a player can an injury which he cannot come back from,and I believe this is what has happened with him and essien. I hope I'm wrong but we need our striker/s to be scoring 20 plus per season. I would like to see us play with two up top if we can bring in cavani and Cesar :

Cavani by far, he's so good it's scary. he's already scored against city so theres no doubt he will be able to score more

Debruyne is awesome in midfield. So that's one less. Oscar also can play centre attacking or box to box
I'd say it's possible. That being said you also have to factor in sturridge lukaku and potentially piazon. That being said de Bruyne and lukaku most likely will go on loan.
