. . . . . . . . . . . . Cech . . . . . . . . . . . .
Azpilicueta . . Luiz . . . JT . . . . . . Cole
. . . . . . Ramires . . . .Romeu. . . . . . . . .
. . .Johnson . . . .Mata . . . . . Di Maria . .
. . . . . . . . . . . .Cavani . . . . . . . . . . . . .

This would be my dream team while keeping half realistic, Cavani would depend on how Torres does in the remaining games, if its a bit of a false dawn id cash in on him

Rotation players would be

Ivanovic
Cahill
Bertrand
Mikel
De Bruyne
Lampard
Sturridge
Drogba

I would sell

Boswinga
Essien
Miereles
Kalou
Malouda

I would bleed in
Piazon
Chalobah
Josh

And loan out Lukaku

SHED END

Believable2 Unbelievable3

CFC should be extremly happy to keep Ivanovic from going to Real Madrid

Agree1 Disagree1

Like it Shed, would keep Kalou though and Torres, letting Drogba go. Also would see about getting Hulk on the right and johnson on the left. Only on the basis of watching Di Maria and him can be very greedy. If we couldn't get Cavani would like to see Ba from Newcastle be considered plus he would be so much cheaper.

Kakuta mceachran?

Agree0 Disagree0

Good team Shed really realistic , but I think I would stick with Ivanovic at Right back with azpilicueta as back up and I would be a lot happier if we went for Moura and not Johnson. I feel johnson plays a lot like sturridge, always looking to cut in and shoot with his left .plus Moura is more versatile, he is also good at the middle of the park or just behind the striker and can play on both wings. Other than that I agree with your team. ELI

Agree2 Disagree1

What about Mata?

Agree0 Disagree0

Mata is heading off tO barca, Daniel s. I's going to arsenal. There goes your to best players, and what makes you think that FOOTBALL players would want to come to chelsea, maybe fat huge strong players players but not tatically strong players

So Madrid lose....the ref did all he could to make real win but bayern deserved it... FIFA must be gutted....and ' we all know why'....

Uefa's "all Spanish final" is at risk it would seem. Bayern have looked a fierce team all season long. I would fancy a final with us an bayern. What a game that would be. We do have the small matter of doing away with barca though. I think we can pull this one off. That is, if the refs are fair. Imagine it though.... An fa cup and a champs league final/win... That would be fantastic. Here's hoping! UP THE BLUES!!

Chelsea team next year, with RDM as manager:

Cech.
Walker. Luiz. Terry. Cole.

Romeu/ mikel

Hulk. Rami/ McEachran. Johnson.

Mata/Hamski.

Torres/Cavani.
Subs. Ivanovic, lamps, bertand, sturidge, pizon, Cahill, Kalo

Pls excuse spelling on the names, but for me this would be a good shake up and bring back the cutting edge with lacked of late. The old guard have done us proud, and best of luck to them for the rest of the season. But there needs to be some fresh blood in next season!

Sgt Slaughter

Believable0 Unbelievable1

You've still got terry, cole and mikel in there....I thought you wanted a shake up?

Lampard instead of Gerrard? No way, im not just saying that because im a Liverpool fan either. If he had moved to you guys all that time ago he would have kept Lampard out of the team, he has dragged Liverpool to several trophies plus almost a Prem title and realistically those sides have been quite poor. That is why Gerrard is better than Lampard. Plus id have Kompany in there, top centre half him.

Lampard highest prem midfielder scorer! rest my case

Well you may be right abt the stats that ampard having more goals n assists but ...he has always been part of better team with respect to strikers .

except torres n owen, SG never had a good prolific forward, and also compered to SG lampard played with drogba, shevachenko, anelka, deco etc these type of players .

Agree0 Disagree0

Well at least u admit lampard been playing in a better team! lampard better than gerrard end! now ant u got a bin to nick!

Cant reply sorry. I like the idea but dont think sturridge and lukaku can be expected to win us a prem title. Would prefer lukaku on loan to a prem club for experience and maybe cavani and sturridge upfront. A midfield of romeu, rami, mata and di maria. rami box to box, di maria as a rm mata left mid with them both interchanging during the game. romeu holding. with josh, frank, de bruyne, meirelles and a few new faces as back up. Melbourne CFC

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Melbourne cfc this is a team i think is for next season i dnt think we will be challenging for the tittle for sum yrs and the likes of di maria are not joining us

Meireles, this person from down under, should stick to boomerang chucking.

next season i would love to see chelsea go 4-4-2 with lukaku and sturrigde play up top 2gether! ppl slate sturrigde for his greedyness but i LOVE that in a striker and i see lukaku as a ideal player to hold the ball up or flick balls on to sturrigde to use his pace to run on to! this 1 up top crap we play at the moment is rubbish cos the loan striker weather its drogba or torres always drift out to the left or right touch line and when the ball goes in the box they are no where to be seen and then ur relying on mata or lampard to run in and score!

cech

invanovic cahill terry cole

ramires luiz lampard mata

lukaku

sturrigdepinky

tell me wot u think and i expect sum ppl to slate this line up but honestly think that be a good set up

Believable0 Unbelievable5

This one up top crap that saw us beat Napoli 4-1 and Spurs 5-1, The system is good, some of the players arent quite up to it so it occasionly gets found out. And Lukaku isnt ready.

SHED END

Agree3 Disagree1

We are gonna have to do better than that if we are to improve next season. For starters Lukaku isn't ready to lead the lines just yet and no way would Luiz be used in the midfield, plus I think Lampard is pass being a regular at the club still needed but not as a starter. We need a new Right back to help out Bran, a winger or two, and a striker if Drogba is gonna leave. ELI

Agree0 Disagree0

Shed end i know we have beat them teams but ive seen every game this season and the amount of times the loan striker is out on the touch line is annoying! i know lukaku ant ready yet and i think we should play that system i said for the ressies with them 2 up top and get them used to that style for next season! we need to look forward to the future now and i really think them 2 up top with lukaku just playing off sturrigde is a match made in heaven

pinky

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate if you've seen every game, there is no way you'd put Ramires on the right wing, Mata on the left wing, Luiz holding and Lukaku starting upfront, its just not a very good line up, particularly in a 4/4/2

SHED END

Agree3 Disagree3

That team wouldnt win us the league for sure. mata is best central, so the team needs to be built around him

Agree2 Disagree0

I said a team for next season which means a whole pre season to work on this formation, ramires can be good on the wing and so Mata and Luiz is primed for that holding role

Agree0 Disagree1

Get rid of sturridge end of

AVB's "attacking" football "project" really was a disaster. We should lay off of our players to some extent. A lot of these players were used to be playing in one systems for a long time and have been very succesful. AVB has started teaching old dogs new tricks. It is unfortunate that he did not have a experienced mentor to warn him off of complete overhaul plan.

It has backfired mightly and the stats show it better than anything. Two seasons ago we have scored over 100 league goals under Ancelotti, while with 5 games left we have a tally of just 56. Drogs and Lampard have scored just about this much combined goals that season amongst themselves.

We have let in 38 goals in 33 matches, which is nearly double of what we concede in the whole season. Defensive shortcomings were obvious and the high line experiment which lasted some 15 games got us some tragic results, also.

The Mourinho designed team is what this competition needs. The siege mentality, the tough tacklers and the defence to shut down the result. We were slagged for playing boring football at time back then, but again, sometimes injuries or lack of form from a few skilled players is the whole difference between a 1-0 and a demolition.

With the same group of players Carlo got us to be the entertainers, while having most clean sheets in the league. If the owner and the board wants attcking and expansive type of football, we don't have to look over the fence and just take a look at our own tapes of a couple of seasons back.

Or Real Madrid this term around. They are about to break the all time scoring records this season and i'm certain they will. And there's this same old mentor of boring football at the helm. Ironic, isn't it.

We made a few mistakes in building and reshaping our team in the close past. And the season we let 5 seniors walk is a sour memory. But only because they were not properly replaced at that time. I hope we won't make the same mistakes this time around, as i expect us to have learned a lesson well.

I still expect quite a few seniors to leave this summer. Drogba, Malouda, Bosingwa, Meireles, Yossi, Ferreira are all possible departures. And i just hope we won't shorten our slim team (players wise) further.

JG

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Personally I think some of the players should of respected the manager a bit more and actually tried. They need to go this summer. Even Alex come out and said about big egos, we don't need that. Look what pep did at barca all big ego players who play for them selfs he got rid.
