This summer there where numerous rumours linking Chelsea with a move for Neymar of Santos, later towards the end of the window we were also linked with another Santos player Ganso. It seems like Neymar will be going to Spain after next years Olympics to Real Madrid, Ganso also doesnt seem to want to come to England with his heart set on AC Milan. With these two seemingly not coming to Chelsea who could Chelsea's alternatives be. In my opinion they should look no further than players from Europe, players from these leagues week in week out face top quality players in there repective leagues and also in the Champions League or Europa Cup. The two alternatives that should be reguarded as top priority should be Mario Gotze of Borussia Dortmund and Eden Hazard of Lille. Both these players play in physically tough leagues, both have been brought through the ranks at there clubs and have the work ethic to succeed, both are of a young age and still have a long way to develop even though there at a current high standard already and lastly both of their current clubs at the end of this season are expecting to let go one of their top stars.

There is no doubting that Neymar and Ganso are exceptional talents but i believe Hazard and Gotze with their combined current european experience and lower price tags, there seem not only a better option but the 2 missing pieces that Chelsea are lacking.

I agree with those 4 top targets, talents like Gotze and Hazard come around once every 5 years, we cant miss out on top quality players that are goign to be available next summer. The sales Malouda, Kalou, Alex and the end of Drogba's career along with Anelka at the end of the season should bring in £20m in transfers and save around £400,000 a week in wages. We have the financal means to buy these players and i really hope we do. This will also allow us to sell Mikel or loan out McEachran to gain more experience.

I would love to see one or both at Chelsea, but they would both be expensive and i believe Hazard at least has his eyes set on Barca or Madrid.

Our 4 main targets should be Kevin De Bruyne, Neven Subotic, Mario Goetze and Eden Hazard. Hazard will dominate the right wing in the EPL and gives us the ability to switch Sturridge to the left and use Mata as a LM alongside Ramires on the right and Goetze down the centre as the world's greatest young playmaker, who will create so many chances for Torres, Hazard and Sturridge aswell as getting a good amount himself. Subotic is tailor-made to Chelsea, good rugged defender who is dominant in the air and wins a lot of tackles and will be a perfect match to Luiz as he is more defensively-minded. De Bruyne would add a different dimension and could be roatated or subbed on for any of the midfielders to add another powerful attacking threat.
the team should be like this if these transfers go through:
Cech
Bosingwa Luiz Subotic Cole
Ramires Goetze Mata
Sturridge Torres Hazard

Subs: Terry, Turnbull, Meireles, Mceachran, Romeu, Lukaku, De Bruyne

I agree, we would be better off going for players from the european leagues rather than the two Brazilians, who are both overpriced. Neymar will end up another Robiniho.
