Just wondering what you guys thought would've happened if Filipe Luis had stayed. I was a big fan of his and was disappointed we sold him after one season. He wasn't perfect but I would've far preferred to see him and azpilcueta rather than ivanovic especially given baba Rahman is getting nowhere near the team.

To be honest I wasn't very impressed with him when he played. When we bought him he was rated as the best LB in La Liga that year though. But then again Rahman was rated as one of the best in the Bundesliga last year so who knows. Hopefully Rahman will start to see more game time and can develop now that we're pretty much out of the top4 race. Perhaps we'll have to wait til Terry is replaced before he gets a run in the team though.

Obviously hindsight is 20:20 but with brans early season form I have a hard time believing that he and Dave wouldn't be the first choice pairing. I'm somewhat concerned that baba hasn't gotten more time this year. At first I wanted to give him time but it's gotten worse and the change of coach has had no change in his time which is also concerning. Hopefully he gets it figured out because he has all of the tools physically to be a really good fullback.

Luis and Rahman are attacking full backs. We would or would of seen the best out of them if we play a high back line and press up the pitch. As long as JT is in our defence we will not be able to change the defensive line. Ivanovic has been a huge problem this season and that showed again yesterday. Branna would be better suited as cover for centre backs. Rahman should play the rest of the season, even if it's to give him a chance to show his worth before another player is sold before even given a chance.

I think we missed a step not going for Charlie Austin. Cheap, homegrown and would hsve score goals. Like I'm not saying "world beater". But honestly, be an upgrade to Falcao and he would be injured less than Remy, most likely. Just I thought.

I think he's at his best when he's first choice! Can't see him being any upgrade if he plays once a month! But I suppose you can say that about any striker.
