Really think Ross barkley is more of a better player technically than fellaini. Hope Chelsea don't go for fellaini again. can't pick a pass or tackle. Zeeb.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

His career has indicated that his minutes and playing time need monitoring as his body has broken down a lot for such a young player.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of rubbish! He was just about MOM last night, won every tackle and didn't lose a single ball in the air! Every corner and set piece arsenal had was headed away by Fellaini! As for passing, he gives the ball away no more than anyone else! Should have gone to specsavers mate, I don't know what you're watching!

Agree0 Disagree0

I watched the game last night an I have to say that Fellaini didn't impress me in the slightest. Fouls wayyy too much and didn't show any sort of ability to warrant a place at Chelsea.

hi ed18 would like your opinion on kevin de bruyne and what you think will happen with him in the summer, and what you would do with him. I personally would bring him back and start dropping oscar to the pivot role.
would love to hear your opinion as a big fan of our cfc {Ed018's Note - I would like to see him back at Chelsea next season. I think he has plenty to offer to the squad. I'm not entirely sure what will happen but I wouldn't be surprised to see another loan}

Ed what's the situation regarding fellaini at the moment? And is he being looked at as a holding midfield player? Thanks
Ktbffh {Ed002's Note - It is not his position and I don't know of any change regarding him.}

Just wanna say 'Take Heart' all fellow Chelsea fans! This season promised so much, yet delivered so little in terms of expectations. Actually nobody could've envisaged playing in the Europa and being locked in a Top Four battle. The manager's situation didn't help either. On the bright side of things, our young new recruits are bedding in well and seem to have fairly settled. Personally (just my opnion anyway, but again who am I?), I'll be ok with a summer addition of Andre Schurlle, Aubemeyang, Lukaku, Omeruo, one of Sven/Lars Benders/Wanyama and Modric. I expect Marin (loan), Torres, Ferrera, Turnbull, Malouda, Essien to all leave. Now that's a great team in the making. We should be up there with the best in the next three seasons. I can't wait.

So the believable/unbelievable buttons are forever gone! Looks awkward!

The fact that Schurrle has only scored 9 goals in the bundesliga this season and taken 147 shots tells the whole story really.

If Chelsea fans could buy 5 players this summer who would they be?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If you mean realistic targets, not some sort of 'dream team' then:

1) Hummels/ N'Koulou/ Dede
2) Luke Shaw
3) Gundogan
4) Hulk (reasonable price)/ Reus (reasonable price)/ Isco/ Son Heung Min/ Lamela
5) Falcao/ Cavani

Agree0 Disagree0

1. Hummels, whatever the price
2. Reus. Same
3. Cavani
4. Xabi
5. Mourinho

Carefree

Agree0 Disagree0

1. Shaw
2. M'Vila
3. Thiago Alacantara
4. Aubameyang
5. Cavani

Agree0 Disagree0

Completely agree with the first comment. I would only add James Rodriguez to the list of wingers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dream Five:

Hummels
Gundogan
Vidal
Reus
Cavani

Realistically:

Dede
Bender
Wanyama
Schurrle
Gomez

Agree0 Disagree0

Dede
Shaw
Fellaini
Aubameyang
Cavani

Agree0 Disagree0

Cavani/falcao
Dede/hummels
Neymar/hulk
Shaw
I also like the look of sissoko from newcastle

More of a dream 5 than realistic

NWBLUE

Agree0 Disagree0

1. Cavani
2. Luke Shaw
3. Vidal/Fernando/Bender
4. Reus
5. Schurrle

Agree0 Disagree0

Jose
Cavani
Shaw
Pogba (unreasonable)/m'vila (reasonable)
I don't think we need 5 or 4 but I would love for us to trim the fat.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shaw will not be for sale, so afraid in my book that is not "realistic"! If you don't believe what his club has said, then perhaps you should believe Shaw himself.

Like Christmas, just because you want it and (maybe) can afford it, you will still not get it if it is not for sale! That is one of the real differences compared to fantasy football.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shaw will most definitely be leaving either this summer or the next. Chelsea aren't the only team looking at him. Ideally we'll look to sign him in 2014 but a bid from Arsenal this summer could force Chelsea's hand as it did with Oscar.

Agree0 Disagree0

1. Varane
2. Messi
3. Bale
4. Iniesta
5. Ronaldo

Agree0 Disagree0

Shaw will NOT be leaving this summer. He has recently said so himself. Why did he say so? Because he knew there was speculation and that other clubs had been in contact with Saints, so he was keen to set the record straight- and he did so by saying that as soon as he turns 18 he will sign a full contract with Saints.
You also forget he plays with Jack Cork, one of the most improved young players in the EPL this season with a real chance of breaking into the England squad shortly. Where did Jack Cork come from? Would it be Chelsea? Did he get a decent chance of playing first team football at Chelsea? So, do you think Shaw is so silly that he can't see all of that for himself?
Not happening.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shaw, may also be able to see that at Chelsea he may be able to win trophies, whereas at Southampton he doesn't. Simple.

Agree0 Disagree0

No, not simple. Who wants to win a trophy for sitting on the bench, or loaned out for experience?
The player knows where he will continue to get first team football, and as a result be able to develop his career, and that isn't Chelsea. Still over 20 players you have out on loan, is it? And what will be the policy of your new manager next season for such players-oh, silly me, you don't know, do you?
Not happening-simple.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who wouldn't he want to win trophies at the club he supports? Players look back on their careers not by how many games they have played but how many trophies they have won. He is an intelligent lad and knows that Ashley will only have a couple more seasons with us Maximum, and that during that time he can learn from one of the best players England has ever produced, while playing a lot of games in the first team

Agree0 Disagree0

Well mate, you earned your corn getting Sinclair to move to City, didn't you? Bet he is pretty excited about how he will have the chance to "win" trophies. LOL
Do you know where his younger brother is? Probably not-he is in the same development squad at Saints that Luke has come through. Wonder what lesson he might learn from that, when they chat during training?
Luke will learn nothing from Cole, he will learn by playing each week in the EPL, marking players like Hazard. Yes Cole will be around for a season or two and Baines is 29 so Shaw will be thinking (rightly) he could be the first choice LB for England within a season or two. Why on earth would he put that at risk?
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Chelsea "model" to achieve success may be successful, but it will not offer any encouragement for young players like Luke. May be attractive for some players to sit around and take the money but Luke is not one of those. Could even happen that Luke fancies playing a bit further forward in the future. Well, we have another LB, same age group, that the coaches think will be just as good, so this is a real possibility at Saints but he would be drawing a pension before it could happen at Chelsea!
Not happening!

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea has no intention of making a further move for Luke Shaw this summer, unless significant efforts are made by another side to buy him. They do however, look to him as a very vioable option for the future and would, in an ideal world, be looking to strike a deal either in January, with a loan back, or in the summer of 2014.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks Ed. , quite understand that is the case. But, as a number of other EPL clubs have enquired about Luke already, it is certain to happen again in the summer-but they will all be told the same thing they have already been told. As far as January or summer 2014 is concerned a lot will depend on Saints progress next season. Since the new manager has arrived they are performing as a top six side, and with the anticipated strengthening in the summer this could well be continued into next season. If that happens, can't see any strong attraction for Luke to go anywhere. Recognise a lot of things change with time, but pretty certain that the summer situation is now pretty much secured. {Ed002's Note - Are you sure you are not just making that up?}

Thanks {Ed002's Note - I cannot sensibly answer that.}
