Just a a question for you all. What would your preferred defensive line-up be, mine would be:

Azpilicueta Ivanovic Luiz Cole

Feel free to post yours to Ed, thought it would just be interesting to see everyone's preferred defensive line-ups.

maybe oscsr will come as a sub

Dunno of mata is match fit mate so probably Oscar start. But saying that Moses has been ion reduce ore season, maybe a start for Moses de bruyne hazard.?

I agree with the last post, azpi and cahill will prob be rested, mata hasn't featured much yet, maybe essien instead of rami or lamps

The Spanish players have had a long trip to South America, so some of them could be rested until the Villa game?

Only azpi went with spain, based on pre season and slights knocks and lack of playing time certian players had, if I had to guess, it would be

luiz has already been ruled out, mata still probably not match fit after playing little time, van ginkel was probably our best cm during pre season, and essien is a mourinho favourite, lukaku was by far the best striker, and azpi went all the way to Ecuador with spain therefore I think ivan will play. be interesting to see though.

I think he hugely overrated so i'm glad we went for van ginkel for far cheaper and better potential.

I originally wasn't sure about van Ginkel but he has been immense so far during the preseason.
