Weekend against leister we should play bertrand lukaku piazon, get the whole squad feeling confident after amazing performance tonight, get whole squad buzzing and let the young players shine, I can hardly remember cavani's name being mentioned in second half. Jt and luiz brilliant, Essein and lamps and Ramires worked like f***, brilliant.

ed002 could you 'hazard' a guess as to where eden hazard will be playing his football in september? haha ha {Ed002's Note - I can't but I can g'uess ...}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Where do you think he will end up ED? {Ed002's Note - Not convinced. Whilst Real Madrid or Barcelona remain his preferred destination PSG, Chelsea, Spurs, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are all interested to one degree or another. I said over the summer that I would not be surprised to see Manchester United through their hat in to the ring with Hazard as well. Chelsea have maintained a long-term interest but one particularly influential party at the club sees the player as having an attitude problem (primarily related to previously well-publised issues). However, Chelsea have recently discussed the player with Lille and a firm offer by Chelsea is still a possibility. Arsenal spoke with Lille before the last summer window and, I am told, proposed a "derisory number" and suggested taking the player would be a risk. Bayern Munich apparently remain very keen on Hazard but the player is seemingly not interested in a move to Germany. Inter would find the transfer fee too high and their only hope would be a part-ownership deal with some cash and a player or two moving to LIlle. Spurs are interested but may need the price to drop significantly to make a move viable. PSG would have the money available but again the player does not want such a move. I really don't see Hazard moving to Liverpool, Juventus, AC Milan or Arsenal for that matter, although with other clubs frustrated at his questionable attitude means it is getting harder to tell where he will end up so a move to pretty much anywhere cannot be completely ruled out. His constant speaking to the press and his recent statement that a move to England would be a stepping stone to Spain will make several clubs think twice about making an offer.}

Drogba is a disgrace.
Almost as bad as Rivaldo going down holding his face when the ball hit his leg.

There is no room for that in the game,the way he was lying there peering through his fingers to make sure the foul was given before writhing in agony again was embarrassing to the extreme.
You may be through,but on the back of such cheating you lot should be ashamed.
Even the biased commentary team sounded embarrassed for him.

a very happy gooner

Believable6 Unbelievable5

SHHHHHH

Mate you worship Henry and hes one of the biggest cheats going, no class at all to come on here mouthing off after our best win of the season, Pure jealousy in bad taste pal, let yourself down ya toby

SHED END

Agree7 Disagree4

Yeah im really ashamed were the last English team in Europe!

CT13

Agree4 Disagree4

I agree there really should be a match suspension for play acting like that. It seems to happen frequenty amongst most european clubs apart from the gunners.

Agree3 Disagree5

You'll have to speak up i can't hear you from all the way up there on your high horse. Did you say something about the last 8 of the Champs League...AGAIN? Or something about Arsenal being the softest team in the Premier League by an absolute marathon?

Next time when you speak take the lemons out of your mouth, your starting to sound bitter.

OsgoodIsKing

Agree5 Disagree3

Almost as embarrassing as getting a 4-0 hiding at the San Siro you rubberhead. You wouldn't see Van Persie diving like that, every time he hits the ground he's out for 6 months, and arsenal would be mid-table without him because the rest of your team is shocking.

Kenny.

Agree3 Disagree3

Ha what a joker. Love the response Osgood! Just a bitter gooner who knows he supports a one man team that come summer will become a no man team. Best performance of the season by far, and i have a feeling will be one of the most long remembered European night at the bridge!

Unbelievable perfomance by everyone, but Luiz, Torres and Ramires were different class!!

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Ramires was immense

CT13

Agree4 Disagree1

Dont Forget Lampard he played class aslong as everyone, except Essien

Agree6 Disagree2

Torres was poor. {Ed013's Note - Sorry pal, but from what I saw Torres worked his socks off. OK he didn't score, but cant fault his work rate}

Agree5 Disagree4

Well done Ed013, these muppets who slate Torres aren't Chelsea supporters. Your right he was awesome last night

FT9 {Ed013's Note - He needs support mate, not slating every time he doesn't score. I know its frustrating that a striker isn't scoring, but its not from lack of trying}

If jt had played in Naples then I don't think we would have all been sweating so much tonight.

Such a proud performance tonight. So proud of the boys and Robbie. Noone, other than us fans thought we will prevail. But we did. And in what fashion!!

Amazing. In these three games we have shown more desire and commitment, than we did under AVB for the whole season. People can talk all they want and side with either opinion, but the facts on the pitch speak for themselves.

Go Chelsea. We all deserve a good run!!

Up the Chels!!!
Great night for the club! Everything that could have gone our way did but we thoroughly deserved to win. I was delighted with every single player, they all stood up for the club and for the team. Don't like to single out any players but I thought Torres was superb when he came on, he's a real fighter and I hope the goals come because he's a great guy. Let's Enjoy tonight blues!

Its times like these that make me wish i could get to the Bridge. I predicted didi to stand up today and from what I've read I was right. This result makes you appreciate supporting the greatest club in the world. I do feel a little sorry for AVB watching this.... nah just kidding, he wouldnt of got this result. Melbourne CFC {Ed013's Note - Well Done, great result}

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Thanks for all your insight Ed013, big help on a big night with a big result. WHOOOOO. Could not be happier, best feeling in the world.

But I seen your prediction down the page, good call on the 4-1 mate.

Getting pretty sick of not being able to watch the game! How we playing fellas, SHED, JG? Drogba done much other than the goal? Melbourne CFC {Ed013's Note - Chelsea are playing well, just had a sucker punch in a well taken goal from Napoli. It was against the run of play. Torres about to come on}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Agonising to watch, we're worth the 2-1 lead ut if they score again we aint gonna score 3

Sturridge on the LEFT, mata behind the striker, FINALLY, Chuffed with that line-up, makes you think why were'nt we playing it before!

My prediction for the match is 3-1, Torres goal in E.T wins it for us

SHED END

Believable4 Unbelievable3

25 mins in and all sturridge has done is give the ball away everytime he's touched it. Get him off and put Torres upfront next to Drogba with Mata behind!

RC

Agree2 Disagree3

He is doing gr8 runs on the right ,, what did you expect him to score a hatrick.

Agree1 Disagree0

Itv lineup got Studge and Rami the wrong way round, not fussed anyway, Sturridge is having success on the right mate i think he could do summat tonight

SHED END

Agree1 Disagree0

Put Torres on with his goal scoring record?,get a grip.we want to win the game not throw it away.

Agree2 Disagree2

Not at all, I have learnt to not expect anything from him. Anyone can 'do great runs' but as usual it's the final ball with him that's disappointing.

RC

Agree1 Disagree0

Your watching a different game to me if you think sturridge is on the left.
Ivanovic is poor in possession and distribution I'd put luiz at right back.
Also I think my 5 year old tackles harder than essien does these days, never thought I'd say that.
Great header from didi but that all he's done. But the biggest pain in the arse for me is those bloody flags.
How we're 1-0 up is beyond me.
Cfcmatt.

Agree0 Disagree1

Sturridge is having that much success on the right that he gets hooked.
Shed, your knowledge is poor.

Agree0 Disagree0

I said Sturridge was on the left before kick off, ITV said he was on the left and Ramires was on the right, next time i wont believe them and just ask you before the game

SHED END

Agree2 Disagree0

Sturridge made a couple of good runs down the right in the first half, that ball he put across the box could of easily went in, there left back is weak, its not rocket science, plus name your posts

Sorry ed on a sh*t phone and cant reply to posts. To the unnamed poster who thinks it would be a massive failure if we dont get past napoli due to their terrible defence, what would you rank worse: getting knocked out tonight or not making it next year? Losing to Napoli or failing to finish past possibly the worst arsenal team in the last decade? Even if we do get past Napoli we stand little chance of winning CL with our current squad. We need 4th more! Melbourne CFC

We wont get either

I think that no matter the result tonight we can take positives out of the outcome. If we win 2-0 or better we make it through to the quarters of the best club competition in the world. If we dont get the result we can focus on the league and FA Cup. Either way you can bet the site will be busy afterwards! Melbourne CFC

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Lol I we don't perform and win its a failure to go out this early.escpecially with napolis very poor defence
