I was in such a good mood until Hazard confirms our worst fear, anybody wants to leave for Madrid I understand. and Barca. Biggest in the world. But who do we replace him with, mahrez should of been ours, that's the concern. £150m + but who is there to get.

Spot on Matt. Only one player better in the World Cup for me and he would never join us.
I want the player at the club not the money but if he goes I would think £200mil minimum.

If Hazard and Willian go what are the options? Malcom, Bailey, Brandt and Zaha all would be decent options for me. None are Eden Hazard though.

Him going isn’t the problem it’s replaceing him. Zaha hasn’t the consistency or end product, Malcom is unproven, Bailey the same, some these people not ready to start at a big club let alone fill hazards boots, asesnsio / bale, Dybala? Need a to be big name otherwise we are on the decline, Ed’s can I ask you who would be good replacement, not who were linked to but in an ideal world,

People may not agree but I think we need to get back to basics and maybe not a player with the flair of hazard but heung min son, already proven in prem and gets a decent amount of goals.
Having said this I wouldn’t complain if Isco was part of a deal but I really hope hazard stays but we cannot have the same situation at the end of every season. This is where the club needs to come back in and either spend big on quality players to keep him or sell him now for a kings ransom.

Lets be honest, it doesn't matter how much We recieve if Hazard should be sold We will not be able to replace Him directly.
Football is about opinions ofcourse but I believe there are only a small handful of players as good as or better than Hazard. I would say Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and Bale.
Of those Ronaldo has just moved to Juve and is more of a Striker these days, Messi will be impossible to pry away from Barca, Neymar would cost the GDP of a medium sized country and wouldn't entertain the Prem and Bale I couldn't see coming to Chelsea if He did return to England plus His injury record is a major concern.
Beyond these Guys, everyone else are inferior to Hazard imo.
Still no use crying over spilt milk and if He does go We'll just have to get on with it.

I agree with Ed001, Asensio would be ideal. If you think about it, signing Asensio at 22 would be the same as signing Eden at 21. Boatloads of talent, very young and ready to prove their talent. It won’t happen, but I’d love it!

Yup. What a shame, one of my favourite players of all time. Should be looking for a very close to a world record fee if he does go and hopefully we'll replace him adequately or we're in trouble.

If hazard Willian and Tibo all go that should raise £250 million for some investment add to that maybe Pedro Cesc Drinkwater it could be a very busy summer.

One of my all time favourites as well. I will be truly gutted if he leaves.
If we sell all the players reported to be leaving, we could raise in excess of £500mil.

Could be a very new look Chelsea team next season. If Hazard wants to leave I won't begrudge him one bit as it's the next step for him and to be honest I never expected him to stay 6 seasons unless we were competing for CL every year as that's what a player of his ability should be doing. If I'm right in saying this TomB you've been a Chelsea (and football) fan for a long time as well so tells everyone a lot about the impact Eden has had for our great club!
Priority now has to be keeping Kante happy, which I don believe he is, as without him and Hazard we are well and truly in trouble! But I'm not too worried about Kante looking to leave! Willian and TBo can go for all I care as long as we get good replacements.

David Neres from Ajax.
Young and quick. Plays mainly on the right but prefers his left foot. Goes past people for fun and scores goals.

Never heard of him I’ll have a look at him maybe it’s going to be a bit of a rebuilding project the next few years with a lot of players being linked with the exit only good thing to perhaps come of it is that the youngsters get a chance to stake their claim for a place

Thirdly Sarri's ideas and coaching is likely to take some time to really work. If We don't get off to a flyer how long before the Fans, Media, Players and Owner start to panic and start longing for Sufferball again.

Everybody should show patience for once. It took Guadiola couple of seasons to show his magic. It may take longer for Sarri to show us what’ he’s all about. I too wonder how long are we prepared to wait for his transformation and success. Maybe if he doesn’t win anything at his first season. will stay. Coz if you win big trophiy in your first season at CHELSEA? You’re a Gonna.

Secondly whilst Sarri supposedly isn't one for making demands to the Club over signings and gets on with what He has You don't want to be shackling Him before He starts by losing Courtois, Kante and Hazard before a ball is kicked in anger.
Our success this Season depends as much on Our better players commiting and staying as Sarri's Tactics and work on the training ground.

I'm pleased the whole Head Coach debacle has come to an end but I still have some genuine concerns.
Firstly Sarri is a very tactical coach, in the Guardiola mould and Our Players seemingly don't appear to like being worked too hard. Whilst the type of football Sarri's Napoli side produced is quite different to Conte's Chelsea it still involves as much coaching and positional work.

So it's finally official, Sarri is our new head coach!
Now we can finally stop wondering what's going on and look forward to the new season with a completely different style of play.
Hopefully we see some decent signings now Sarri is appointed and we can keep Hazard and Kante. Willian and courtois are not irreplaceable so I'm not so worried about them.
All the best to Sarri for his time with us, and let's get behind him! His style of play may take a while to click but once it does we should be great to watch! c'mon Chelsea!

Sarri in with lack of winning experience, plays great football and players really take to him. Add in Zola and cudicini to his staff ( Steve Holland and Terry in would be immense ) and there's that connection to our club prem league knowledge, Europa league silver lining is players like mount Hudson-Odoi Ampadu will get time and be amongst first team OR they will get a loan to derby where lamps and Morris know them and will get beer out them, Jorginho almost done apparently, linked strongly to few others, Higuain in I just don't get, for a striker that age I'd go Cavani but Sarri knows Higuain, pre season has started players willl be back in few weeks, now I'm excited again about our Chelsea, hopefully linked to some inside forwards / wingers that suit Sarri and run behind, Guedes Bailey etc.

Finally the managerial saga is is over!
Firstly, thank you to Antonio Conte for bringing silverware to the club in his 2 years. His first year was scintillating, however the less said about the 2nd year the better for many reasons.
Can't wait to witness Sarri-ball now, I've been wanting this man as our manager for a while now due to his beautiful style of football. Hopefully he settles in quick and doesn't disappoint.
