I think we are all aware which player would PSG want from Chelsea to let Cavani go.

Hope we have another top class striker and Pogba/Vidal/Kroos class midfielder still to come beyond Fabregas, given length of season/no. of games. Still expect Luis at LB, of course. But remain worried that Costa is injury prone (and he did look like a carthorse at the World Cup -- though I accept that arguments re. him not being fully fit or fitting with Spain style could well apply). Was pretty gutted at AFC getting Sanchez, and there seems to be impressive strengthening going on at AFC, Utd (Vidal?) etc. Gotze could link nicely with Schurrle.!

Wake up Goetze isn't coming.
1.Chelsea has four strikers at the moment(D.Costa, Torres, Ba and Lukaku). I don't see more than one of them is leaving as well as I don't see any of world class strikers coming.
2. JM will probably play 433 next season so Chelsea has Matic, Mikel, Cesc, Oscar, Ramires and vanGinkel as midfielders. If Mikel leaves we can except Khedira or Song as replacement. Winger positions are very well covered.
3.There's left back position issue which will be sorted with Filipe Luis.
Other positions are covered with top quality players and I don't except changes in this areas.
Since Kroos decided to move to Madrid I don't see many signings this summer.

Thanks for the well considered reply chn, but had thought that Ba and Lukaku both almost certain to go. If things patched up with Lukaku, and he has the right attitude, that would be considerable relief/help. But are you happy with (ie not just resigned to) this striker line up and think that Lukaku will stay?

I should have added that the Gotze comment was intended as a bit of humour, I know that his name has not in recent times been linked with CFC. But had had hopes of addition of at least one more mobile (Sanchez, Aguerro like) striker alongside Costa if, as thought on this site, Lukaku leaving and Ba/Torres only sporadically firing. But possibly situation has now changed.

Costa is not an official Chelsea player yet, as for now A. Madrid has accepted the offer but that is all, he has not been presented yet

Costa is done deal. I believe Lukaku will stay. Ba will most probably leave and Torres will most probably stay since he doesn't want to leave Chelsea. Pogba isn't realistic signing and Vidal is MUFC bound. We will try to get Varane but I am not sure that we will sign him. Yes, in the end Lukaku will most probably stay. Cheers.

From what I've heard/read the deal for Lukaku is progressing and looks like he'll be gone soon. Off to Wolfsburg I think. Ba is out. Torres there hasn't been any real rumours about him recently but ed002 did say that we were looking to offload him.

Wolfsburg is story 6-8weeks ago. Chelsea put 40m€ price tag on Lukaku more than month ago which is the price that no one except Liverpool will pay and sincerely doubt Chelsea will sell him to Liverpool.

Yeah Costa is probably a done deal, but he is not an official player yet!

Really doubt that we're asking for 40m euros. Where'd you even get that from? And Ed002 mentioned a couple days ago that talks were still progressing.
