Believable0 Unbelievable15

Malouda? Are you serious?

Agree13 Disagree0

Would be alright without malouda but there is no one else

Agree1 Disagree13

No one else? Uh, you do realise that we have a player named Yuri don't you?

Even young van Aanholt looked better than Slo-Mo bursting forward from LB, the few chances that he had on the pitch.

Agree12 Disagree0

Take away lamoard and malouda and replace them with better players.

Falcao has signed a new deal with Porto. How embarassing, a player that wanted to join us and we wanted him, chose to stay with Porto, while we dragged our heels, yet again. New manager and backroom staff, same old useless transfer policy.

Believable2 Unbelievable15

Spot on. If I were Roman I would start sacking people.

Agree0 Disagree15

Haha yeah so much for waiting till the end of the Copa America

Agree0 Disagree12

What a bunch of whingers. Is this your first experience with a summer transfer window? You realise that it's open until the end of August? Very few impact trasfers have taken place so far, and the players like Falcao probabl never had any intention of coming to Chelsea. All he had to say was "come get me Andre" and he got a nice new deal.

Agree11 Disagree1

The fans are concerned for a reason, radical changes have to be made at Chelsea, Lampard, Malouda, Kalou ect ect, all cannot be first team players next season, they simply arent good enough anymore. If radical changes are to be made then the sooner the better as the new players need atleast a couple of games with there new team before the PL starts.

Agree2 Disagree11

I realise that. Do you also realise that it is July 15th and the window closes in another 6 weeks or so? Take you valium and chill out. Huge transfers always take until the 11th hour. Like I said, you're acting like this is your first experience...

For the record, nothing would please me more than to see the as**s of Malouda and Kalou walking out the door, but I also know that there has to be interest in them from other teams. Other than small rumours about Kalou, teams aren't braking down the door for those 2 clowns. {Ed046's Note -

Let me get this straight: Chelsea want to win the league and champions league next year. But they don't want to spend £40m? Am I missing something? Look around. All the contenders are spending big.

Believable0 Unbelievable15

There is no point spending £40 million on a player that is not worth that much.

Agree15 Disagree0

We lack focus and aspiration If we want a player we go and get him like we did for Torres. We want a player because he will will bring in the winning factor.

Agree0 Disagree15

I agree, Chelsea could of quite easily signed Aguero before the copa americabegan by simply agreeing to his wage demands. The guys a great footballer so he should be paid well for it anyway.

Agree3 Disagree13

"simply agreeing to his wage demands."

Right, £200K a week. That would go over well with the rest of the squad...

Agree13 Disagree2

Regards the rest of the squad, on last seasons performance very few deserved to be paid what they earn. Aguero is class bite the bullet and give him what he wants.

Agree4 Disagree11

"like we did for Torres." that was 50mil wasted, and you think we should do it again? clown

Agree2 Disagree13

Regarding Torres, that's a bit harsh to say that it was money wasted. Give him a chance this season. He came from a completely different system at Pooh. He came to a Chelsea group of fragile ego's and greedy muppets like Malouda who refused to pass him the ball.

At least Torres has Prem. experience with which he coped quite well until last season. Atletico's few CL matches against English sides isn't proof that Aguero can handle a whole season - especially with wage demands upwards of £200K

Agree11 Disagree0

Listen person Torres had f*** all service last season. He will come good you mug.

Agree11 Disagree0

IT FRUSTRATES ME SO MUCH WHEN OUR SO CALLED 'FANS' RIP AND GOAD TORRES. DO THEY NOT LOOK AT THE WHOLE TEAM AND PICTURE? HE RECEIVED ZERO SERVICE LAST SEASON TORRES CAN'T ALWAYS DO IT ON HIS OWN HE NEEDS THROUGH BALLS, CUT BACKS, TOP CLASS CROSSES GIVE HIM THIS AND YOU WILL BE EATING YOUR WORDS YOU IMPATIENT CLUELESS CLOWN. AND YER I SAY GIVE AGUERO WHAT HE'S ASKING FOR, THE OTHER PLAYERS SHOULD'NT CARE TO MUCH IF WHAT THEY SAY IS TRUE ABOUT NONE OF THEM HAVING BIG EGO'S. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE PLAYERS IT'S ABOUT CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB

Agree11 Disagree0

You're right, it's about Chelsea - not the players.

But be honest - a handful of players were only concerned about their own self-interests last season? Malouda and Kalou are good examples of ego and "me first" mentality. If they had more concern for the "team", we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Agree9 Disagree0

I think Drogba secretly still has a massive ego.

Does anyone know who our agents are?

Believable0 Unbelievable15

Clueless stubbern clowns.

Agree1 Disagree14

Chelsea has agents? Or do you mean individual player agents or the Chelsea board?

Agree11 Disagree0

If you don't know what I mean then forget it {Ed002's Note - I had no idea what post you were referring to. But Chelsea does not employ agents. Agents represent players no clubs.

Agree1 Disagree11

What about Pini Zahavi? {Ed002's Note - What about him? He is not an "agent" of the club. He is paid based on any transfers which he facilitates. I really don't understand what the question is here.}

Agree0 Disagree11

OK I will clarify. I meant which agents is CFC liaising with? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea and their representatives have spoken with many agents as approaches are made to the club all of the time. Discussions are continuing, some as we speak, with player's agents and representatives of their clubs. Surely you don't want me to list all of the agents representing these players? I still don't really understand what you want to know.}

Agree11 Disagree0

"If you don't know what I mean then forget it"

It appears that you don't even know what you're talking about, which Ed002 once again pointed out quite well...

Are you serious? We lost Falcao because we couldn't guarrantee first team selection? Who is responsible for our transfers? Postman Pat?

Believable0 Unbelievable15

My source tells me it is in fact fireman sam.

Agree3 Disagree15

Were they supposed to lie to him then just to get him to the club?

There is no way that you can guarantee any player automatic selection when they are coming to a club like Chelsea. Unless of course they are of Messi's standard, which Falcao is not.

Agree12 Disagree3

Well, with Anelka, Kalou and possibly Sturridge out is the invisible man going to be automatically selected?

Agree15 Disagree0

Yeah, I really don't understand why some people automatically believe that if we get another forward we're going to keep all of the existing ones.

If we buy another striker, I'm sure that at least one on our roster is leaving.

Agree13 Disagree0

Nobody said that if we got another forward that all the rest would stay.

I believe that we don't need anymore strikers. I just feel we need a couple of wingers and a creative midfielder to feed the strikers that we have.

Agree1 Disagree14

"Nobody said that if we got another forward that all the rest would stay."

Well, not being guaranteed first team selection kind of infers that there are more than just a couple of players who play in Falcao's position. He must have felt that he would be competing with Malouda, Kalou, Anelka, and Sturridge (let alone Torres and Drogba). He's not the only person who feels that Chelsea will be dumb enough to keep most of this impotent lot

Falcao's signed a new contract with a new release clause of 45 Million Euros (about £39 million), once again we move to slowly and miss out on a decent deal, nice one.....

Believable1 Unbelievable15

Signing a new deal obviously means that he didn't want to join Chelsea. For example, you will not see Modric signing a new deal at Tottenham, because he wants to join Chelsea.

Agree0 Disagree13

State the obvious. lol

Agree0 Disagree11

Well everyone is moaning on here that we have missed out on Falcao by moving to slowly, but if he did want to come to Chelsea he wouldn't have signed the contract at Porto and would have waited. He is at the Copa America so we would have had to wait until after that anyways.

Agree11 Disagree2

I feel that he never intended to come to Chelsea and was just hankering for a new deal from Porto. There's also a chance that Real was the place that he wanted to go.

all chelsea targets seem to be going in different directions look at this list below

neymar=santos/madrid
pastore-claims hes not leaving Italy
Augero=claims he wants to leave and there are loads of top clubs after him plus alethico owners claim hes not for sale.
Falcao=Interst seems to have gone done in him I dont know why

these players are only a few examples and this is the only one that looks to be heading our way Modric

Modric handed in a transfer request claims Chelsea is his dream team brillant player problem is the chairman Levy and the lub owners say hes not for sale

now look at other teams so far that have left and signed for other team like utd

David Da Gae=utd
young=utd
phil jones=utd
and now yes it is offical that sneijder has also joined them

look point is they are signing top p;ayers and we are sitting on our hole and not doing a dam thing yet we need new player get rid of the old and bring in young hard working players
and now essien injured for 6 months god knows he will be greatly missed

Believable5 Unbelievable15

Official that sneijder has joined united? Since when?

Agree15 Disagree2

Hes joined utd official yes today for 35.2m and has been givenscholes shirt number 18

Agree2 Disagree14

I agree with the post you have at the top bar the sneijder situtation hes not moving to united calims Ferguson. Ferguson has said that United have no interest in signing sneijder. I do agree about our targets and that its taking its dam time and that other clubs have gotten a load of players already

(ace05)

Agree2 Disagree11

Ashley young got then number 18

Agree11 Disagree0

"Hes joined utd official yes today for 35.2m and has been givenscholes shirt number 18"

You really should provide links with a statement like that - and I don't mean the Daily Mail or Goal.com. Nowhere on the sane part of the internet is it reported that he's a Man Utd player.

Chelsea are so frustrating, just give the yids John Obi Mikel and £22m for Modric,
Ed realistically if u had to put your life on it,
Do u think we WILL sign anybody this summer? {Ed018's Note - yes we will sign someone]

Believable0 Unbelievable13

Modric will be our only signing.

Agree1 Disagree11

14 Jul 2011 18:41:47
why don t u like modric he is a fantastic player he would fot in perfectly i would pay lots of money on him and also he basically is totenham him and bale so we have to get him

Believable0 Unbelievable15

14 Jul 2011 18:12:26
Chelsea should think long term when it comes to replacing Essien and should go after Marouane Fellaini and get rid of that bloke Mikel.

Believable1 Unbelievable15

14 Jul 2011 15:33:14
sneijder deal to mu almost done...just wages left to negotiate..i kno the club is carefully screening all the options but i cant help feel that man u have left us in their wake and it will take something really extraordinary to outdo them now....bt still hopeful...in AVB we trust(and in Roman too)

Believable2 Unbelievable15

I realise that ol' red nose has a penchant for mind games, but he's publicly stated that there is no Sneijder deal in place. Could still happen, but trusting the tabloids is never a smart thing.

i know its still early in the transfer window but seeing other teams strenghening their squads has to be a little bit worrying with pre season being the perfect time to gel a team together.we all know the areas that need improving with the likes of age being an issue, maybe we should start to think ahead a bit better instead of trying to play hard ball right untill the last minute year after year.

Believable2 Unbelievable15

Where and when have we played "hard ball" this transfer window?

Agree14 Disagree0

14 Jul 2011 11:40:58
Anyone know how much playing time Daniel Sturridge may get next year?

Believable0 Unbelievable16

Are you serious? That's like asking if Chelsea is going to go unbeaten next season. Not even AVB can answer that question.

Agree17 Disagree0

478 minutes i reckon

Agree17 Disagree0

I'm hoping alot, i think he and torres could form a pretty good partnership, but he could end up going on loan again, it all depends on what villas-boas thinks of him.

Agree0 Disagree15

Right now, the only good partnership for Torres seems to be Anelka, as much as some supporters hate to admit.

Agree15 Disagree0

14 Jul 2011 09:38:27
ed, how much do atletico want for aguero and how much is his wages? {Ed002's Note - The transfer fee is circa £40M and finding an acceptable package for the player is the issue.}

Believable0 Unbelievable14

I think we should pay £40m for Aguero {Ed002's Note - That is not the problem, the issue surrounds finding an acceptable package for the player.}

Agree0 Disagree15

In my opinion and as its not my money I would meet his demands the guy is a class act and would give us some flair we have been sorley missing and he is less of a gamble tahn Neymar.
On another matter are most clubs going to ignore these new finacial fair play rules as from what I can make out clubs are spending big and would apear to be prepared to worry about it later.

Agree0 Disagree16

What would be an exeptable package to him {Ed002's Note - One worth a great deal of money in one form or another.}

Agree1 Disagree15

So we should pay the guy anything that he wants (neighborhood of £200K a week)? I'm sure that will help us with the FFP rules... I guess that you still can't figure out what Ed 002 tried to tell you TWICE

Agree15 Disagree0

Agree with you about aguero. i don't think the new rules come into play until next season although i could be wrong {Ed002's Note - The rules are not going to see any repercussions before the 2014-15 season in three years time but the clock is counting know for consideration being given to the spending. What you will see is greater spending this season and then demonstrating their commitment to improvement over the coming years.}

Agree0 Disagree15

In an ideal world, Chelsea and the other top European clubs would give the good old proverbial middle finger to UEFA, tell them to shove it, and start their own super league, far from the sinister eyes of Platini and Blatter.
