Why is Bertrand not being used? Best ball in the box all game by any of the wing-backs, stop bringing off Mata and Essien and then never let Malouda, Bosingwa etc play again. Why did we send De-Bruyne on loan? Give Piazon a chance FFS!
A team I'd like to see:
Cech
Ivanovic Terry Cahill Cole
Essien
Ramires Lampard
Mata
Torres Sturridge
Subs: David Luiz, Piazon, Bertrand, Drogba, Lukaku, Romeu, Chalobah

Players we should buy for cheap:
Sesegnon: Quick, skillful passer who has a good shot
Maclean: Young Striker who looks like a man who could be moulded into a new Rooney.
Hoilett: Doing well in a struggling side and would be cheap in summer, also quick and has a great cross on him.
Victor Moses: ^See above.
Raul Albiol: Out of favour at Real Madrid and is a good, solid CB.
Markus Henrikson: Midfield Dynamo who could potentially be just what we need. Having a good season this year and has plenty of potential.
Experienced players we should look at:
Kaka: Might be a gamble, but is a proven Class Player and could really be proper playmaker which we so desperately crave.
Nigel De-Jong: Good rugged Defensive Midfielder who does his job well and might take the move as he is out of favour. Might cost a bit but he is a good player.
Scott Sinclair/Nathan Dyer: Young class acts, swallow the pride and rebuy the youngster we let go, i don't think we'll regret it.

Still think we'll get fourth but it will be tough.
CFCFOREVER!

i totally agree with every word here ,,, why bring in malouda as a midfielder ?! he was real class the past two seasons , but he is wasted this season.
bring in Romeu again , he holds the ball and has a great passing record.
totally agree to all the cheap signings ,, this is how to rebuild a strong team and a deep squad.

Alot of players you have mentioned are not chelsea standard in my book..not if we want to get back to where we were 2 years ago

Bertrand I think is gunna be better for us than cole. Cole is seriously out of form. Piazon would play better than meieles and why the f is bosingwa and malouda still at Chelsea

I like AVB and I think he is learning, he removed the high line from the defence to accomadate the current defence.

He wants to play open, attacking football with gifted 'footballing' players who get the ball down and zip it around. He has signed mata to help this but he hasn't hada chance to bring much more in yet. Hopefully he will strengthen in the summer with players who play the way he wants.

The only negative thing i have with him is that as he doesn't have the players to suit his style he should just set up his tactics to suit his current players and achieve as high a league position as possible to ensure champs league football.

Rebuilding a team takes time and requires a 2/3 years minimum to see significant change. I hope chelsea stick with him as he could guide them to success in the future.

This is just a neutral opinion on the matter.

Latest chelsea news doesn't surprise me. The old guard vs AVB. Im glad Roman backs the manager over this.

Players like lampard, malouda etc are a shadow of what they once was and don't warrant first team football and to see lampard moan about this baffles me. They need to take a leaf out of scholes and giggs's book who have not put up a fuss and accepted its more impo for utd to replace them with future players but have always provided assistance like the legends they are and always put on the jersey and play with passion evertime selected.

Only a matter of time till news like this broke out. Old guard needs replacing and AVB needs to be given time to bring stability. Sacking him proves nothing especially when the players arent responding hence why he needs his own set of players.

I remember when AVB was first appointed Guus Hiddink came out and said he will need to win Lampard and Terry over or will have no real chance a created a new philosophy, Guus would know from his 6 months there. I havent had many times I've been really excited about Chelsea this year, but I can honestly say I am excited for this season to finish and see what happens in the summer.

I'll still support the sh*t out of Chelsea for the rest of the season but I honestly cant wait til we can put this season behind us!

Totally agree about scholes and giggs, utter professionals, if Lampard, Terry, Cole etc want to be regarded in the same light they need to prove they put the club first and their own opinions/performances second!

Agree, i think the senior/older players know that there time is up under AVB, so its in there best interest to get a new spineless manager who will give them all the minutes they want. All this could of happened a lot more gracefully and i think the senior players need too take a long hard look at themselves, interested to see Drogbas attitude when he comes back

SHED END

Put it this way... AVB needs time to mould his own team together.

Now to understand that some chelsea players still exchange text messages with mourinho is beyond shocking.

Agree with shed-end, these players want a spineless manager that throws them in the squad for more playing time.
Can't wait for summer so a full clear out is on the cards.

A clear out will only be done if AVB is our manager as he has experienced the attitude and commitment of these players first hand. A new manager may want to give the old guard another try and see how they respond to him, with a few new additions and affectively we will be in the same position as when AVB originally came last year. Thats my opinion anyway.
