Here's a question.
Mourinho seems to be thinking about keeping victor Moses seen as he's homegrown.
But why not just put Lewis Baker into the squad? IMO he's already shown how good he is and Moses seems to be making less of an impact, especially at Liverpool last season.
My 23 man squad would look like:
Courtois, Cech, Schwarzer, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Terry, Ivanovic, Zouma, Filipe Luis, Ake, Matic, Ramires, Van Ginkel, Fabregas, Oscar, Willian, Salah, Schurrle, Hazard, Baker, Torres, Costa, Drogba
Personally I would of liked to seen Romeu stay over Mikel that's why he's not in the squad as I want to see him go along with Torres. I'd be gutted if Cech leaves there's a lot of so called fans disrespecting him on this page they don't seem to remember he's been the premier leagues best keeper for the last decade. If he does I'd imagine Delac, Beeney or Blackman will replace him as 3rd choice.
It's also a big season for Salah it wouldn't have bothered me seeing him going out on loan. I'm hoping Mourinho can do a great job with Christensen, Baker, Brown and Solanke and slowly bring them into the first team.
We'd still have to find a buyer for Moses then which might be a difficult thing to do. Another consideration is that the club might believe baker will develop better playing regularly rather than being part of the main squad.
I think baker is under 21 so doesn't have to be registered. Like Oscar was only 20 his first season. So he didn't have to be counted in the provisional squad. Same with van ginkel last year.
Christensen is already in the first team squad
{Ed008's Note - And Romeu went out on Loan to Stuttgart..
No ones disrespecting Cech I for one think he is not just a magnificent keeper, a great person, and a leader but also a true blue a legend and will forever have his place in the heart of all blues, but sadly there comes a time when you have to move on, keeping him on the bench and not letting him be first choice somewhere else, doesn't mean we love him anymore than if he left now. Ten years as first choice in a big club, I can think of only two keepers who have equalled and beat that In the past decade. Quite an achivement, and might have been more but we have the best young keeper and top 3 best who must take the mantle now.
Petr is a legend and no one not even neutrals can say anything negative about Petr cause as I stated he is a terrific role model both on and off the pitch but, when its time its time.
I have to agree with you about Cech. Simply can't imagine why would Chelsea sell him. I would rather sell Courtois if he doesn't want to sign new contract cause we can get much more money for him than for Cech and Cech is only 32which is for goallkeeper like 24 for midfielder or striker.

I know romeu's gone on loan to Stuttgart I would of just preferred he stayed and Mikel left.
We have HG problem. That is why I still don't understand why we sold Lukaku. Moses has to stay since he is HG. Another thing that makes no sense is signing Schwartzer or JM has serious problem keeping Courtois. I do really hope that they know what they're doing.

We sold Lukaku because of his attitude. He had expectations that were unrealistic considering his age and level of experience.
I'm not sure why the HG situation is seen as such an issue. Moses does not 'have' to stay.

Thinking that keeping Cech over Courtois is also completely flawed logic.
In my opinion Cech has been in decline for the last few seasons and I have lost the rock solid confidence that I used to have in him. His experience is obviously an asset but Courtois is at a similar level already and has years and years of top level football ahead of him.
To suggest that a 32 year old goalkeeper is similar to a 24 year old outfield player makes no sense to me.
I think guys you should pay attention what JM said today about GKs and Moses.
Moses going out on loan.
