Don't know if you guys are watching Spain vs England but Fabregas has been brilliant in the first half. His style of play certainly suits possession football. Costa hasn't done much though. Does anyone know how any of our other lads are getting on tonight so far?

Can't believe how much talk there is of most of our players unhappy and maybe wanting to leave. Costa maybe returning to Atletico, Hazard to Madrid/PSG and also Oscar to Juventus. We maybe having a complete reshuffle next season.

It is some of the players not all and it has an impact on the team. Costa you will find had issues last season with his injury but the medics could find nothing wrong for as long as he claimed and the alleged partying and hopping back to Madrid did not endear him to JM. Hazard as I said before has a family and his wife doesn't like it here so that is a huge pressure to play under. Oscar may be on his way because he has failed to progress as simple as that. Throw in Ivanovic's problems and it is not surprising we cannot get any rhythm.

Not particularly Chelsea related but since this page has been a little dry over the international break, I was just wondering who will be watching what game later as there is a few exciting ones! I'll probably be watching Spain vs England (as I'm English and also want to see how our Spanish players get on), although I'll be keeping an eye on Belgium vs Italy and France vs Germany. I'm predicting draws in all 3 games as well, just have a weird feeling! Also good luck to the Republic of Ireland in their qualifier tonight!

What does everyone on here think of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang? I know most people here would prefer Griezmann, but Aubameyang is currently in the middle of a sensational season with 14 goals and 3 assists so far. I believe he would be a better and cheaper option than Griezmann.

That seems like a good shout actually. Not sure how cheap he would be however, Dortmund would have to be silly to let him go for any less than 40m on his current form, especially in the current market! I hope Jose and the board both realise how important it is to spend in January!

We looked at him before the start of the 2014-15 season but he made it clear he had just bought a big house and enjoyed life In Germany. I have seen him a number of times and he is very quick and has a good strike rate although not particularly robust which would be a worry in the Premiership. The German le.

Sorry KTBFFH/Saim flicked out for some reason. The German league apart from a few major teams is not as competitive as ours which is always a worry and also do we need someone that will be off to the Africa Cup?

If you have the chance to sign a young Essien or Yaya Toure will you not sign him because of the African nations cup?

Dastanj: No, that would not stop you but Aubameyang is not of that type and in Chelsea's current situation, over the next season or two they really could do without any disruption.

His style doesn't suit how other teams allow us to play. Since the Newcastle game last year many teams have been playing a very low block and looking to counter when possible. This prevents us from breaking with numbers and getting behind their defense. That unfortunately is what Aubamayang specializes in.

Frensham is right about league level. We could all witness how Kagawa managed in MU. In Germany they play tactically different football. Premiere League is much more difficult than Bundesliga.
