Not sure if Italy Vs Belgium could have gone any better for Chelsea. Our incoming manager looks like a genius for the win with a clearly less skilled squad, Hazard was by far the best player on his team and the players we moved on and we're criticized for doing so (still regret we sold them) were probably the 2 worst players on the entire pitch with Debryne being the worst imo due to ability and expectations. He must have given the ball away thus squandering chances at least 10 times. Also the DM we're trying to buy from Roma was the 1st sub (didn't understand why, he wasn't bad and seems to have a good shot from range) so maybe Roma will snap our hand off for that 2nd offer Lol.

Personally I thought Niangollan was mediocre in that game, I'm not judging him overall though.

I can't disagree Geffro, never said he played well, but watching the match do you think he was Belgium's worst player to that point in the match and deserved to be 1st sub?

By the way, whoever scouted, recommended, or signed Michael Hector (loan to Reading I think) at Chelsea should resign. I watched him a few times playing for Jamaica and he is terrible, not good in any aspect of game where you would think with experience and training he might one day get on the pitch for us.

Belgium was outplayed tactically. Having big names doesn't mean that you have a team.

Now that Laporte has chosen to stay at Athletic, so goes any chance we had at signing John Stones, had the club changed their stance, I guess. Would that be fair to say ED002?

It really is unbelievable how things turn out considering Laporte seemed certain to join City, it is just not meant to be for us to sign Stones, a shame.

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with Chelsea nor Stones.}

Or a blessing, i'm obviously not a Stoner, in fact if he was English I'm not sure how many here would be either.

Why are you gutted? Juventus is a great club ( although it's my less favorite club in Italy) .

Maybe he's gutted that juventus signed him and we didn't.

I'm shocked why Roma chose to sell to their biggest rival instead of looking abroad. This could snowball now with madrids interest in pogba with possibly James being involved and kroos ending up at city. I can't see Roma selling nainggolan now.

{Ed002's Note - This has been on the cards since Chelsea stepped back.}

Chelsea step back because of price or a change of transfer target.

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant - it has long gone and been dealt with.}

Antibot that was a silly statement. Why.
Obvs because I would have loved to see him at Chelsea.

I think Ed told us that Pjanic had some excessive demands.

I'm personally fine we didn't get Pjanic. For me his game was too similar to Fabregas whereas I would rather put that sort of money towards a player like naingolan that provides a skillset we currently don't feature.

Fantastic achievement for our young Dane. It really has been quite the season for Christensen. He's a fantastic talent and on his way towards a brilliant career :-)
I'm really happy for him.
