I remember a year ago people on here calling for Willian to be replaced. He is simply irreplaceable and shows it can take a while to settle. Others (probably the same people) saying the same about Pedro. Watch him get better next season when he settles. As for Cesc and the people who don't rate him! He is quality and instrumental to our success. On another note I thought Branna was better at CB than RB. And Traore looks like he could be developed into a striker to make a real impact. Glass always half full.

We have quality player that are not suited to certain styles of play/ management. We have a team suited to attacking football that under Jose was made to put defence first.

Great first half performance.
Will love to see Guus introducing more of the young guys and rest the others for our champions league match.

THought again that Traore looks a real prospect, imho better than Kennedy. Loftus-Cheek off the pace today, but clearly needs to start more games. Perhaps he will v City in the Cup.

what strange memories people have. We string a few reasonable results together and all is forgiven. Yesterday we beat an appalling team very well and what was interesting was in the first half we attacked very quickly and did look like our old selves but for periods in the second half we slipped back into tippy tap passing with their defence in front of us. I am NOT a Pedro fan and feel it was a waste of money but that was his best performance for us albeit against poor defending and he took his first goal beautifully. Ivanovic looks far more comfortable in the middle and it frees Azi up for the right but Rahman is not our answer on the left, another waste of money. I think Hazard is just a shadow of last season and he obviously is struggling to impress Hiddink or he would not have so much bench time. The next transfer season will be very interesting from our perspective as Hiddink indicated.

Ok ed001 ill ask you straight then.
In your opinion do you think jose will end up there not? Like i said your "opinion" cheers ed.

{Ed001's Note - in my opinion, yes he will. He wants the job, they are reconsidering LVG due to the fans attitude with Jose defo being in contention as one of the first choice options. The only question really is whether he will still be on the market by the time they make the change. Potentially Real Madrid and Juventus could move for a new manager in the near future, off the top of my head. I mean summer by near future by the way, which is likely to be when any change at United would take place.}

Have to admit that I would hate Mourihno at any other English Club!

Personally over the whole Mourinho thing, in any work place it is the managers job to get the best out of his/ her employees. In my experience as both a worker and manager the best way to achieve this is to treat your staff with dignity and respect and create a happy and thus positive working environment. He obviously did not achieve this at Chelsea this season. A good manager is never seen or heard. Mournho wants to be the biggest name/ ego in the dressing room, in this modern day football world this does no work. He needed/ needs to adapt and ego, I don't think he will/ can.
