Kevin De Bruyne, we can't let him go, he is such a beast and would link up with Hazard and Lukaku so well in the near future, also tons better than Marin and Moses

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Couldn't agree more. If Dortmund want to buy him and he would play over there, I couldn't think of any reason he wouldn't be good enough to play for chelsea

Franco

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think we should be writing off Marin just yet. In preseason he was by far our best player - he just needs a run in the team.
Stamford70

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with Stamford70. Marin's a good player. Anyone doubting such should read his player profile created by the eds.

Agree0 Disagree0

I rate Marin extremely highly, I watched him for years before we got him. He has been left out far too much, he would link up better with mata and hazard than Moses does. Moses should be the one frozen out,

Agree0 Disagree0

I haven't seen much of KDB and Marin apart from the Chelsea games, Who is better and why?

Rooney was line striker for UTD and scored 30 goals few years ago, Rooney ahead of mata hazard and I can only wish but hulk would be brilliant plus Luiz and either Ramires or Oscar deep be lovely to watch

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No thanks.

Wages aside, I think 25m pounds for Roony will be good business. He's got everything to succeed as as a center forward. He wants to lead attack and score goals and not merely provide assists while seeing a less talented Danny Wellbeck and Little Pea start ahead of him as strikers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I disagree, I think Rooney is a better than average striker with weight and attitude problems, he has never looked truly match fit, he lacks discipline and is SAF can't whip in to shape let him go abroad and earn his money.
One Bomb Tom

Agree0 Disagree0

No way. His fitness level declines season by season. If Fergie can't convince him to keep fit then I'm not sure who can. Not to mention that he'd likely want wages of around 250k which he is currently on.

Do you guys remember how bad Drobga was in his last season bar the last 3 months? No because he scored winning pen in Germany, Lampard has been okay but not his great self all season, so if he does leave this summer he will leave a legend like Drobga did. my point is its a good time to leave.

Completely agree.

Ed, is it looking more and more likely that targets like Cavani and Falcao will be unavailable and that we will have to look to players like Lewandowski and Jackson Martinez?

Cheers Ed!

Now gooners can go on and screw themselves. I really hope it's the spuds that finish 4th just to see how Wenger carries his whining face.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Disagree I hope spuds come 5th so bale will leave them and then see how they get on without him carrying them through a season

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd rather Spurs finished 5th. Arsenal aren't likely to title challengers but with a bit of momentum and Champions League football, perhaps Spurs will be bigger challengers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather see arsenal carry on being happy qualifying for cl, keeping Wenger. Don't want things to change their, as with the rich Russian in the background and they start to spend big, they will be a force.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with the second posters thoughts. Gareth bale will leave if they don't qualify and he is their team so if you take him out I don't fear them in the slightest however I don't think you'll see much difference if arsenal qualify or not but if they don't I could see psg going after him and arsenal letting him go.

I watched some clips of KDB. The boy is class with the sky as limit. It would be madness to let him go and certainly he cannot be included into any deals. Proitos

Hi, L F C fan here, Just like to say congratulations to Frank Lampard, great player, great pro a credit to Chelsea and to English football, hopefully he will get the chance to add more goals for you next season, just not against Liverpool. ant

Who would you all rather have and why, KDB or lewandowski?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

KDB, think he's going to be one of the top players in the world in a couple of years. He's really special

Agree0 Disagree0

KDB because he's a chelsea!

Agree0 Disagree0

De bruyne. This kid outshines schurrle for me. He can ht the ball with both feet. How often do you get that?

Agree0 Disagree0

Depends. Kdb will be easier to replace than somebody like lewandowski.

It's actually a relief that we have secured champions league football, congrats to the team. Well proud of Frank Lampard, his performance today rolled back the years to when he was so consistently good BUT I suppose age catches up on even the Greats of the game. Well played today though and I'm so chuffed his the record holder for goals. Well deserved as his been a great player for us over this decade.

I'm glad we can move on from this year as it has been fairly poor campaign on all fronts. Getting knocked out in the champions league so early and losing the charity shield, super cup, world club cup finals are simply not good enough for a club like chelsea. Europa league is just a consolation.

Rafa generally did poor And for me he isn't chelsea material and therefore I am glad to see the back of him. But he has developed a few players who WE all should be grateful for, examples can be seen with Cesar Azpi and David Luiz. I must say these two are now brilliant players. the latter now being one of our star performers of the season along with Mata and Hazard who have been phenomenal this season. Also Rafa is the man that played Luiz in the moddle of the park. sp credit where its due. Oscar has also been a revelation this season.

I'm not sure about you guys but I have generally been disappointed with Demba Ba. Even though Torres doesn't score which is a negative. his work ethic is great. His been more consistent this season with his work ethic but I suppose due to his lack of goals he isn't seen as fit to lead our front line and Needs to be REPLACED But I think his pace is still great and has combined well with mata, hazard and Oscar he has been effective. Demba Ba is too slow. And he doesn't have the hold up game the legend Didier possessed. So definitely next year with a leading striker we will back to where we belong. Top of the EPL.

Shak

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good post but think Ba deserves more chances up front, rather have Cavani/Gomez/Lewandoski though and Lukaku back if not on loan.
EH17

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree with the player developments, I see Luiz as the captain in a season or two.

I think rafa has in some way done well, top 4 and possibly another European cup, fa cup would have been nice as well, I think winning the CL has been some sort of curse with the amount of games/travelling forced on the squad which lacks depth/quality for a near 70 game season

Ba & Torres both need to move on in my eyes, time will tell who stays and who arrives I suppose

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree and still think we need a "wall" player as a striker who our three amigos could play off of and who would keep the ball up front and for me Lewandowski is the best in the game right now in doing that. Plus he'll definitely be cheaper than Cavani/Falcao and is younger than both. Absolute must in my opinion.

Cheers

I am afraid I am warming to rafa. Sure his substitutions and their timings can be questionable, but he has got the team playing well, the players obviously like him, and he has got us champions league qualification and into the final of the Europa cup. If Jose does not come then give him the job ( if he wants it after all the abuse). John

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No chance. We're not playing well enough to win a league title. We were only 4 points behind united when he came in. Look now we've been scraping for top 4. We lost fa cup from bad management makin us sit back. League cup because of bad management. We lost the super cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

Di Matteo lost the super cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

We were 4 points behind but RDM had 2 points in the last 6 games before he was dismissed.
