the people wanting torres out is ridiculous, if i remember rightly our midfield and wingers were so uncreative was unreal. (except mata)were all to use to playing with didier up top where he makes goals out of long balls. torres is a strikers who thrives off of through balls and creative players around him. he needs these players i.e hazard, mata, marin. with the right players he will score for fun. im not just favouring torres but were all blue im backing him for next season. towards the end of the season he was playing very well changed the game in munich, making space for everone else. i want sturridge gone he aint good enough, not torres. if people pile down on torres take a long hard look at others in the team, in my opinion theirs 3 or 4 in central midfield that need changing

No excuses next year, the team is likely to have more creative players and has no Drogba pressurising him for his place. I have faith and his movement is still top class so i hope he can go on and stuff the doubters words back down there throat

I think the problem is that he has reached a point where he has used up all his chances, one more slip up and the patience will be up, unfortunately poor performances for Spain will increase the demand for a replacement to be sought by some Chelsea fans. He will need to perform next season to a high standard or people will not be impressed.

I completely agree this will be the first time our team has played to his strengths and lets see how he does. If its not good enough we can look to make a move in January but until then he needs his chance.

I do think if he had been given more chances this season, i think we would have scored more goals than he did. But he didn't so we have to back him like hell this season!

Is it selfish of me to want Spain,Czech rep, etc all out ASAP so we have our Chelsea players back for pre season earlier

Its the Olympics that will mess with the preseason. I think that the final is the day before the Charity Shield so any player heavily involved in the Olympics will miss (i believe) all of the preseason and the start of the season, if they are permitted a break.

Wouldnt say selfish but to be honest we only have terry,cech,torres,mata and ashley cole there and to be honest mata and torres look like there rarely going to play even though they should

and its irrelevant how early they get back from the euros they wont start pre season earlier if they get knocked out they will still be on holidays
