Ed002 please come back. it's crap without you here! Promise I won't keep pestering you with questions! Thanks for the info you provide. It's priceless. Thanks again.

{Ed002's Note - Not just yet Adam.}

Maybe a sharkopod if possible?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - No chance, sorry.}

12 Jul 2017 22:52:27
Hazard isn't going to stay at Chelsea forever, he's 26 and next year he'll be 27, he'll want to go to Madrid while he has years left so let's face it it's probable e will leave Chelsea next year. We need to focuse on finding a replacement for him. Why not challenge Arsenal for lemar from Monaco . He's 21, already proven in champions league, fast strong skilful and has a great shot on him. If it's true Monaco are listening to bids if £50 m from Arsenal why not try and sign him. He could fit in our starting 11 now as well. Either replacing Willian/ Pedro or playing a different position . I'm a huge fan of his and would hate to see him go to Arsenal.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed018's Note - Monaco really do not want to sell Lemar}

13 Jul 2017 07:53:11
I know but eventually they will Give in and the only team that seem willing to fight for him are Arsenal. People might not agree with me but I think he could replace hazard in a few years f hazard joins Madrid. Do we have any interest in him anyway?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed018's Note - Chelsea has shown interest in him and were told he was not for sale after they sold Silva}

12 Jul 2017 20:51:08
Ed017. Is Bakayoko any closer to signing? Apparently his injury could mean he misses the start of the season? Is or will this deal actually go through?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed018's Note - we shall see. They had someone look at his knee}

12 Jul 2017 22:28:55
Oh really? Not Dr Steadman is it? He's supposed to be the top dog for knee injuries isn't he?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed018's Note - I don't know who it was or what the outcome was}

12 Jul 2017 22:30:56
Deal is going to happen- just might be a while till we see him. He like David Luiz played through the pain to win a title.

Cheers tho Ed018 👍🏼 Any other updates you may be able to add? Cheers dude.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed018's Note - nothing major at the moment}

13 Jul 2017 14:41:05
If there is a knee ligament problem we must walk away. There's no sense signing a player who will be injury prone.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 20:52:30
This story is becoming a nightmare. Matt Law of the Telegraph is saying- Conte fears Bakayoko could be out until Sept even (even if he signs) . Please Chelsea can't miss out on this transfer.

Please can any of the Eds throw more light on this issue.

From the European page.

Ed002's Note - Aubameyang will almost certainly leave Dortmund this summer and there have been talks with four clubs. Right now two of those are out of the picture. But Milan are very keen to sort something out as soon as they can and there was a discussion with Chelsea on Friday. Dzeko's agent is trying to get Wolfsburg to make a move for the player who is keen to return to Germany.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

12 Jul 2017 22:15:58
Between us and Milan then. Other 2 would be PSG who said no due to the money involved and Tinjian. Who won't sign him due to the 100% tax.

Think we now have a great chance to sign him.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 18:53:01
Aubameyang rumours are spreading thick and fast.

To be honest, he has just turned 28, only last month and therefore he isn't as old as some people make.

If the rumours are true and we could snap him up for 60 million then I would take him all day long. He is the calibre of striker that will win you titles. He will make us very dangerous on the counter attack too.

Furthermore unlike Belotti, Moratta and Sanchez, this transfer could be the easiest to acquire for us. To sign the any of the others we will need a lot of negotiating and I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of messing around and it will drag out for a while and it's not ideal to to be backed into a corner with no strikers barring batshuayi when the transfer window is about to close. Teams will take advantage of out desperate situation.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

12 Jul 2017 19:04:19
I'm not even joking but the quotes from Torino president saying they will listen and that they are there if anyone wants to enquire sounds as if they want to cash in. albeit for a large fee. I think with the 90m that was quoted for lukaku deal with add ons, £65m ( ish ) for aubameyang if still go for belotti. see what Torino will accept. even a deal with a loan back for a year? For £140m we could get two of best about, ( that's if belotti isn't a one season wonder )

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 19:51:35
PEA is a great Striker no doubt. Yes last month in June he turned 28.
Realistically there are Morata, Belloti and PEA in transfer market.
PEA record is such that he has more goals in last two seasons than combination of Morata and Belloti.

But CFC do have concerns too regarding PEA, if transfer don't go well then after couple of years his transfer value will be very much less due to his age.

Agree3 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 20:24:48
Why do people on here worry so much about transfer fees.

I'd be very happy with Aubameyang. Always looked dangerous whenever I've watched him play and knows where the goal is.

Also if in 2 years he was to leave, Abraham would hopefully be pushing for a starting position by then.

That being said I'm not confident that we'll get him.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 20:49:50
Can't we just buy both? Michy goes out on loan Costa sold for £30m. There you go. £80m for Belotti, £30m for PEA after £30m for Costa. Sorted.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 22:46:10
Why is everyone worrying about reselling price. Realistically we are looking for a ne striker who will stay with us and not lead after 2 years so it shouldn't matter about what pirce we will te sell them on for. Auba will probably have 2 great years left and then start to decline but will still be a top striker. With morata or belotti we could get abou 6-7 years if them at their prime but if you think logically. By signing them, Abraham wont get a in the future . Like King Drogba said previously, we sign auba and in 2 years when he's 30 Abraham can challenge for the first team.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jul 2017 14:40:13
PEA is an amazing striker. Its hard to believe that we might sign. If there's any chance I would sign him immediately. He scored 42 goals last season in all competitions.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 18:47:51
I'd like us to do a Bayern and go for a loan deal for either boletti or pea . with an option to buy if her performs and get adjusted to the premiere league . and bid successfully for Morata . that should sort out the strikers with Costa leaving and batsman going put on loan to a pl team .
Wishful thinking :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

12 Jul 2017 19:45:50
Why would BVB will loan Aubaemayung to us, and same for Belloti.

12 Jul 2017 18:34:40
So I've been having a thought, if Bakayoko does sign with us, would this allow Fabregas to move into a more advanced position?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

12 Jul 2017 20:32:38
Fabregas position has nothing to do with Bakayoko. It's about formation Conte will force next season.

Just wondering as it stands we have 15 non homegrown players in our squad ( including Costa, matic, Zouma and excluding Remy)
Currently we are linked in rumors for RWB (Danillo), LWB (Sandro) and one attacking midfielder ( likes of Sanchez) how we will handle this.
What if Chalobah decides to leave for regular game time. Will CFC regret letting go Homegrown players such as Ake and Begovic.

I expect if we sign couple of def RWB and LWB we might loan Zouma.

12 Jul 2017 16:20:04
I'm confused on Danilo deal?!
Why don't we try ad get someone better and younger like Ricardo Pereira, had a great season at nice and is going back from his lona spell. Spurs are interested but I think we could beat them to pereira.
Another option is semedo. Reports of £30 m fees agreed for Man U. Why aren't we trying ss brilliant and only 23
Another option - Florenzi, I know he has an injury ATM but Roma just signe karsdorp and have Peres they don't need 3 rbs. He's young and very talented why not put a £30 m bid in you never know.
Finally - Aurier. Reports suggest Alves has agreed to sign for psg. I know psg would want to keep aurier as alves will probably in get 1 more season but he's ong and very strong and fast and talented. Why not just pay whatever psg want for him.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

12 Jul 2017 16:46:14
I suppose we cannot bid for every good player there is. Based on what particular attributes conte/ Chelsea feel they need I would assume Danilo best fits that bill.

Obviously you have to take into account other factors like is the player interested does there club want to sell, value ect. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors.

Agree3 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 17:53:34
I am happy for whoever comes as long as it's Conte's choice not our boards.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 17:58:48
Wages, game time, all come into mate. Like JCFC said you can't just go out and do a Fifa and buy all the best talent. That just doesn't happen. Certain players can play in certain formations etc or how a manager would want them to play. I'd back any player that conte wants and uses. As I admit he knows far more then me on certain players!

Agree0 Disagree1

12 Jul 2017 19:29:31
i don't who comes in along as they give 100% and play for the shirt! exactly like Alonso last year. i was definitely one that thought why are we signing him. and he proved us wrong. agreed not the best player in the world but gave everything and chip in with a fair few goals.
its all about team spirit and Conte is the key to that.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 22:51:43
I know tha if conte sees someting in him he's probably right just look a Alonso. But why are paying £30m for him? He ms not young he's 25, he's out of form lack of game time. I'm just saying we could probably get aurier or pereira for around that price. Also why are we willing to spend so much on players who aren't worth it. Don't get me wrong rudiger is a great defensive player but £34m really? If we are keen on spending over the top amounts of money in pakyers who are good but not word class why not spend what we need to to sign these wild class players Jd don't drag out all the transfer to te and get the best deal.

Agree0 Disagree1

12 Jul 2017 23:30:12
The guy earned a move to Madrid. He must be some way decent. Look at Sandro, great season at Juve and now work 60 mill plus.

Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.

good luck! hopefully proves wht he can do, and gives 100%.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

12 Jul 2017 13:30:41
Excellent. Dutch coaches tend to be trusting of youngsters, and Palace's midfield isn't the best, so he could impose himself on the team. With Benteke (hopefully) and Zaha up front they could play some decent attacking football.

All the best, Ruben!

Hi Ed want to know (sorry if this is asked previously) in case CFC fail to get Sandro, are CFC looking for other targets for LWB/ LB position.
If yes could you please mention some names.
Thanks ED in advance.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed018's Note - I'm unaware of any other players they are interested in for that position at this time}

12 Jul 2017 05:18:09
Hey ed, who would you choose personally between Morata, Lukaku and belotti? Would be great if you could explain so as well.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed018's Note - how can I choose Lukaku he's not available and is irrelevant. I have not seen enough of Belotti to have a clear opinion of him. I like Morata. I think he is a complete forward and would work well with Hazard, Pedro and Willian. So Lukaku included, I would pick Morata out of those 3}

12 Jul 2017 11:12:47
Ed018 I agree with you mate!

12 Jul 2017 12:40:07
What if Aubamayang was included? Aubamayang for me!

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 08:36:48
If its true Real Madrid will only do a deal For Morata that involves Hazard going the other way, they can get stuffed. Let's just pay the 70-80m for Aubameyang or Belotti. I'd rather have Michy as our main striker than lose hazard to Madrid just for Morata.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

12 Jul 2017 10:35:09
I do remember one of the Eds once mentioning regarding Hazard and it is expected that he won't be moving this year.
However, it does seem probable to move next year (may be with Ronaldo moving on elsewhere) - just speculating here!

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 11:29:38
My understanding is that when we initially approached Madrid about Morata their answer was 'Hazard' and they were told 'not for sale'. Now the answer from Madrid is 'Courtois' and we are considering that as possible.

Agree0 Disagree3

12 Jul 2017 16:08:43

My dream window from now would be:

Toljan
Alex Sandro
Bakayoko
Sanchez
Morata

Caballero and Rudiger already signed.

Out:

Zouma
Matic
Costa

And hopefully give Christensen, Chalobah and Baker gametime.

12 Jul 2017 15:18:05
You can forget about Alex Sandro. Juve have no interest in selling.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 04:56:55
Hey guys new poster here just going to give you my thoughts.

I'll be really worried if we don't sign Alex Sandro he's the only one we're linked with who's genuinely world class. Hazard is out for the start and we have no other inside forward who is world class to replace him. Willian and Pedro both good players but can't influence the game as much.

I like Morata but he's a big downgrade on Costa no matter how people see it. Costa will be a massive miss I know his attitude is poor but he's one of the best on form.

Bakayoko I think will be a big signing for us as well as Rudiger but it's starting to worry me that Conte isn't getting the players he wants and he will walk away next summer if it continues.

Apparently we've agreed a deal for Danilo. I don't know about anyone else but I really don't like signing players out of form. I thought we should have targeted Conti before he went to Milan or we should target Jeremy Toljan he's a fantastic player, physical and a fantastic crosser of the ball one of the big stars of the U21 euros.

Is Morata better than Michy I'm not so sure i would rather give Michy a run and aim for a better inside forward like Sanchez or Dembele. We really need to be bringing the likes of Toljan and Alex Sandro in and not other teams back up players.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

12 Jul 2017 07:40:13
Morata is a year older than Bats and a vastly superior player to him who, apart from 'that goal' has done nothing of any note in his career and whoever paid £30m plus for him wants shooting. If we get Morata he will prove a very good buy if he settles. The Danilo 'possible' smacks of desperation to me. As for Sanchez, is her worth the £375 - £400,000 pw he thinks he is? Never. When Chelsea beat Arsenal last year at the Bridge you would not know he was playing and unless you give him the ball all the time he throws a strop.

Agree0 Disagree3

12 Jul 2017 08:04:14
How is the Danilo deal desperate? Was quality at Porto, went to Madrid, had a world class right back in front of him and didn't get in the side. And.?

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Agree1 Disagree3

12 Jul 2017 09:09:15
Many players are classy but never show lasting form for many reasons. He looked good in a poor league and has been anonymous ever since and WE suddenly want to be him! I doubt this is a Conte pick.

Agree2 Disagree1

12 Jul 2017 12:48:48
How do you know this isn't Conte's pick?

Agree0 Disagree2

12 Jul 2017 15:06:47
Remember wesley sneijder, van der vaart, chicarito, etc just cause a player doesn't settle to a certain club doesn't mean he's not good enough for another top club. look at forlan at man united went on to be a prolific scorer after he left. who wpuld of said moh salah would be at liverpool or de bruyne ending up at city, jerome boateng radamel falcao angel di maria felipe luis the list goes on don't judge a player on previous form or a bad spell in a team he wasnt getting into as adam said class is permanent form is temporary.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 15:22:03
CFCAdam/ Magichabdshurley: I do not disagree with your sentiment BUT Chelsea should not be buying players on the off chance they find their form. I also said "I doubt" he was a Conte choice and that was based on Conte putting his wants list forward early and we suddenly start sniffing around Danilo. We are back training and off on tour and I am sure Conte would have wanted all his signings on the trip and Caballero is the only one going!

Agree0 Disagree1

12 Jul 2017 15:31:18
Danilo is a Conte's pick as he had tried in his Juventus days to sign him. Being on the bench at Madrid or Barcelona doesn't make much difference as there lots of world class players there and Spanish contigency also come into play.
Remember there must be something about any player that signs for Madrid. So chillax guys and trust Conte as he has earned it.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jul 2017 20:05:38
Ed1 what are your thoughts on Chelsea's options for cf's.

In your opinion, who do you think Chelsea should go for? And who do you think they may actually end up with? I know it's hard to guess but I was wondering what you thought mate.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - Morata seems the best option out there and will probably be the one you end up with. There doesn't seem a lot of options out there.}

12 Jul 2017 04:27:05
What's your opinion on Aubameyang Ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - quality player but has a few issues which would make me steer well clear. Especially knowing that he will constantly keep talking about wanting to play for Real Madrid.}

12 Jul 2017 04:58:35
I agree i think once his pace goes he will go downhill quick. I also don't know what to make of Belotti. Don't think the players were linked with are massive upgrades on Batshuayi to be fair, well at least not 70m anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - the problem with Belotti is that we have no idea if he is a flash in the pan that will not perform to that level again. The problem with Batshuayi is that he has never performed at anything like that level to begin with. In fact he has never shown anything to suggest he is a top level player, yet. Which may well mean he feels he has something to prove.}

12 Jul 2017 05:27:29
I have to agree Ed, the options mentioned don't fill me or most fans with hope I think especially when the likes of Lewandowski, Kane and Dybala seem unattainable. That's why I'm a bit gutted we're not trying harder for Sanchez he guarantees you goals and consistency wherever he plays he would suit Conte's style down to a tee also.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Sanchez could also cover for Hazard too.}

12 Jul 2017 08:05:22
Thing is Conte knows all about Belotti from his time as national team manager!

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jul 2017 08:31:02
I have to agree Ed1 and cheers for your thoughts. There aren't many options out there.

For me Belotti is a big risk too, maybe another year or two of producing at tarino before anything like the valuation requested is even met. Sanchez would be nice but it seems so unlikely.

I think the we should try and sign Moratta. Hopefully it ends that way too. Tbh he isn't an upgrade on Diego Costa but hopefully Conte can work on him and make him better.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - welcome mate.}

12 Jul 2017 08:31:49
Ed001, no sign of two top forwards coming in then, more like a morata / aubamayang and then a 3rd choice, bit worrying if morata is our main man, not ever got more than 20 goals in league and seems to be a CF rather than lone striker, and surely PEA must know at 28 if Madrid not in for him now it's. It happening.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I am not so sure Morata is a worry, he would do fine if given the chance, I believe.}

12 Jul 2017 09:58:40
Appreciate the response, take care.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - welcome M m.}
