Hi all! I'm planning on going to my first Chelsea games this winter(I haven't before as I live in North West Scotland) & have just bought my Chelsea ticket membership. The question is, which stand would you all recommend? Cheers

Mathew Harding or shed end. West stand is too quiet, so is the east, unless that's what you are looking for of course. BLUEBOY1

Agree0 Disagree0

When I asked this question, I was recommended Matthew Harding, but i'd choose either the MH or the West Stand. West stand is a lot more expensive though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Shed lower buddy
Blr. North Ayrshire blues

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree blue boy, the atmosphere in the West stand is getting worse and worse :(

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers guys! Yeh looking for the best atmosphere, so MH or Shed End it is!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's all good mate wherever.

Mathew Harding for crazyness then West lower or Shed

Agree0 Disagree0

I sit in the west lower and there's not a lot of atmosphere unless its a big game but it's quite relaxed and it's not too bad. But if I were to choose anywhere for a one off game I would go with Mathew Harding instead of the shed.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you want to join in the sing songs don't go to the west stand!

Agree0 Disagree0

West stand and east I wouldn't even bother. Ruins the potential atmosphere at the bridge these two. Harding I would go.

Agree0 Disagree0

MHL as close to the middle as possible, absolutely magic

Blue John

Agree0 Disagree0

Mathew Harding :) season ticket holder always a good atmosphere!

Agree0 Disagree0

Shed end, though it ain't what it was its still the best atmosphere IMHO.

Brisvegas Blue
(formerly from the blue side of Glasgow)

West stand is where the prawn sanwich fans like my brother sit

Can someone tell mourinho that there is a world class striker over at PSG for around 16 million or less. I know zlatan is 31 or something but what the guy gives to any team is unbelievable, probably the most clinical striker I have personally ever seen and no doubt he would do wonders at chelsea like he does for every single team he has ever been in. Jose and him have experience working together and he has even said he would kill for him as a coach! I believe he is exactly what we are looking for and what we need and his name isn't even on the cards and I have no idea why

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Does he want to leave? Do psg want to sell?

Agree0 Disagree0

I have no idea if he wants to leave or PSG want to sell but he's always said he wants to play in the prem and now they have cavani I am sure if the right offer came in they wouldn't hesitate on accepting it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Jose knows what he's doing mate, don't worry.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes not a fan of blanc or cavanis arrival and I think he would be happy to go. Psg would probably be fine with him going due to his finances and his potential to wreak havoc. That said I would not want to buy him at this stage of his career because there are few teams who would be interested in bringing in his personality with even few being able to afford him. This makes me very uneasy about his future after the first year with the club. I just feel there are better solutions. That said I LOVE zlatan and think he would virtually garuntee us a title.

Hi all still alittle worried bout squad for season think the players we have brought in have given us more strength but still struggling to see where the goal are going to come from, ok oscar hazard mata lamps will most likely chip in with some but am thinking big goals in big games a player who puts the ball in back of the net at ease, now don't get me wrong some of them wouldn't be my first choice but the others seem to have bought one or got one united r.v.p city negredo spurs saldado (spelling). Just my opinion we got torres who I've prayed to get his goal scoring boots on and am still praying think lakuku will be ok but needs a few more seasons and with rooney looking like he's more likely to be kept don't no who there will be available and I think that will be what we struggle with. Hope not and torres fines something under mourinho.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lukaku.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ivanovic scores a few so does luiz. Terry and Cahill, ramires scores ten a season with ease, lamps, van ginkel, Oscar, mata, hazard. Schurrle and de bruyne score on average 10 a season each. Moses will have a few. Torres another 20, lukaku 15.

Agree0 Disagree0

Torres 20? He scored 6/7 in the PL last season.I think Mou is still looking for another striker. Lukaku is not quite there yet and Torres and Demba Ba are inconsistent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Soldado and negredo were both second choice to Torres. That said I'm not over confident with those two.

Hi, have noticed that the odds have changed massively over the past few days on Rooney staying at Man United. He was heavily odds on to leave last week but now is clearly favourite to stay at United. Do you have any more news on him? I hope the bookies are wrong as would love him to come to Chelsea. Many thanks David

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The odds depend on who's betting on what outcome generally. So if a bucket load of people bet on him staying then the odds favour that. I wouldn't rely on betting odds too much, I remember Aguaro bring odds on to join us for around 3 summers before his city move.

Agree0 Disagree0

The odds are also based on talking points and interviews and lies like Moyes saying on Sunday that he and Rooney have a good relationship and that it was Rooney's decision to train with the reserves. Also the expectation that he would of either been sold or handed a transfer request in by now has some rethinking. For me I see no change, the fact that he praised Hodgson for picking him after Moyes said he wasn't fit to play and Rooney showed up for national team training an hour early and worked hard till the finish tells me he could have played in preseason and wasnt that injured and the he genuinely doesn't want to play for Moyes like he said in 04 when he left Everton. Holding a player hostage, who doesn't want to play for you, should be beneath a club of United's stature. Like ed always says about Chelsea's players, if the player wants to leave and his valuation comes in then Chelsea will not stand in their way no matter who they want to go play for.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree above poster, and them holding rooney is going to kick up a real stink in their camp which is only going to work to chelsea's benefit!

Morning eds.

Is there a problem with the Chelsea page, I posted several times yesterday and nothing has been updated. The other club pages all have updated throughout yesterday and this morning.

I would suspect that there have been posts from numerous people that have been lost.

Any explanation? {Ed018's Note - I really don't know}
