Your sell list:
Malouda, Anelka, Zhirkov, Kalou, Bosingwa - real good chance
Drogba, Benayoun - possible
Kakuta - can't really see it unless he puts in a transfer request. Makes no sense for us to initiate it, especially after what we went through to get him.
Your buy list:
Lukaku, van der Wiel - real good chance
Neymar, Pastore - possible
Sneijder, Modric - slim
Nasri - eh?
N'Zogbia, Gervinho - I've never seen anything that states that we're interested in these 2.

It is very hard to sell Torres, he is great player+ extremly expensive.

If we bring in 5 players, do we have to sell because I think our squad is small enough.surely if we bring 5 in and 5 go out then we will be in the same position as this year.I think sneijder, lukaku, hazard, mata, VDW all in.Maybe kalou, anelka, Pauli ferriera, all out.If we have to pay the reported £41m for neymar I think we should say no.You could get hazard and mata for that price and I guarantee hd will be another robinho, who would last 6-12 months and want to go home.
Believable2
Unbelievable10
I would wager that it would be more of a salary for salary swap instead of X players in X players out.
Last 6-12 months and want to go home? Give me a break - Neymar may show signs of immaturity and borderline arrogance, but I feel that he is way more driven to be the "worlds best" than Robinho ever was. He'll survive on ego alone.
Sure doesn't sound like Sneijder wants or needs to leave Inter.
And why wouldn't you want to sell some of our current roster? Most of this lot are either past it or have no heart. Only in it for the wages (I'm looking at you Slo-Mo).

We've accepted an offer of 15million from Tottenham for Drogba. Also please stop the Tevez rumours, if he leaves City he will leave England.
Were did you hear that we accepted an offer from Spurs?
I saw Tom Huddleston in Alea casino in Nottingham (he wasn't playing he was just with friends) he told us that Chelsea have accepted a bid from Spurs for Drogba and Man City and AC Milan are trying desperately to get Bale but Redknapp is having none of it.

Love to us sign Sneijder, Bale, Van der Wiel, Neymar, Lukaku, Aguero, Godin or Hazard, top 3 would have to be Sneijder, Hazard and Aguero for the new formation;
VDW, Terry, Luiz, Cole
Hazard, Lampard, Sneijder, Aguero,
Torres, Drogba,
Bring it on Barcelona!

And another person who thinks that Torres/Drogba will suddenly work... didn't you watch any matches between January and May?

Do you have an idea how much money we need to do it. Pastore 45m, Sneijder 35m min, Neymar 40m, Mata 25m=145mil pounds. We can sell Drogba for 15-18m, Anelka 8-10m, Zhirkov 8-10m, Malouda 10-12m, Kalou 10-12m=62m tops. Than we have to afford back ups VDW 17m, DeBruyne 9m, Lukaku 20m=46m
Now 46m+145m=191m-62m=129m
Do you really think we can do it?
Agree10

We could if we use Abramovich's 80 million war chest and then sales from Zhirkov, Kalou, Anelka and Sturridge, but keep Drgba, he truly is an Ivorian Beast!

If you'd prefer de Bruyne, hit the affirmative, if you'd prefer Steven Defour (whose much better) hit the negative.
It's driving me absolutely mad they're going to sign Kevin de Bruyne ahead of a genuine Lampard replacement, he's good but when there are guys like Alan Dzagoev out there (even Odil Ahmedov) I can't understand signing de Bruyne. Of the young Belgians, as I've already mentioned there are three really great mids I'd have ahead of de Bruyne, Axel Witsel, Steven Defour and Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, Defour is apparently set to leave Standard Leige this summer, it's down to Chelsea, Man U and Man City for him (and we're going to put ourselves out of the race by signing de Bruyne?! its madness).
As for defensive mids, we've got the great Essien, the best player in the latter part of the season Ramires and the good early last season but subsequently poor Mikel. Moussa Sissoko, Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe and Josip Ilicic are the guys who could really strengthen that department.
Believable7
Unbelievable14
I clicked on "disagree" because I truly disagree with your opinion, not because I prefer Defour.
Anyone with a single brain cell is aware that de Bruyne is for the future. I'm sure that Chelsea realise that as well.
Agree13
Disagree1
I agree with you mate, this person clearly hasn't got a clue what he's on about! He's stating that players such as Ilic will strengthen our defensive 'department', however he's seriously unproven after one season in italy! De Bruyne looks a serious talent and is clearly one for the future!
Agree12

Who is Ilic?

I think he means ilicic from palermo
Agree8

I mean Ilicic from palermo and he is a strong contender. If Ilicic is unproven then what is de Bruyne! Are you calling the Belgian league stronger than Serie A, and as to the future Defour is hardly an old man he's 23!
Agree0
Disagree2
What part of "de Bruyne for the future" don't you understand? He's being looked at for his "potential", not for already being proven.
And isn't Ilicic an attacking mid.? Why would we want to shove him in the defense "department" (wth is this a grocery store we're talking about or football?)

Will Chelsea sign another centre back to replace Bruma if he goes or promote someone from the youth? Also who is the most likely to get promoted from the youth to the first team next season? Thanks Ed. {Ed001's Note - buy, that is why they are looking at Godin etc. I would say only Van Aanholt is likely to make the step up or Ryan Bertrand, this season anyway. With the reserves league becoming an U21 competition it makes it easier to leave them there for regular football.}

To Ed002 Last year Real Madrid wanted to sign Ivanovic but R.A. said no, what is possibility that could sell him? {Ed002's Note - Of course.}
Sorry, of cource what?
{Ed002's Note - Of course he could be sold.}
Are you for real? He best EB in EPL 2009-2010 and one of best EPL defenders last season. Hiddink who promoted him is going to sell him?
Believable1
Unbelievable8
He didn't look like one of the best defenders in the EPL last season, especially the latter half. As such, I always felt that he was a better defender than Bossman, but didn't do much better than Jose whilst attacking (crosses weren't much more quality in other words).
As far as I'm concerned, any of the 1st team players can be sold. No "untouchables" on this squad. The youth on the other hand - would hate to see any more go.
Agree9

Season before last Ivanovic has been covered up by Decco or J.Cole last his cover was Ramires you can't go attacking as RB if you are not properly covered by RM. Same is for A.Cole.

As Barcelona have a transfer kitty of 40 million, would this imply that they are going to leave Neymar for the time being as they have other targets who are seemingly a higher priority to them e.g. Sanchez, Rossi and Fabregas.
Without Barca in the mix we would seem to be firm favourites for his signature. Of course there is still their loveable rivals who seem to love hijacking our deals........

ED, just a brief query:
1) Lukaku seems to complete his transfer and we are further focussed to Aguero. Chelsea plays a single striker formation and we already have Torres, Drogba, Sturrige, Kalou and Anelka (even 2 of them leave, we have 3 left). This gonna create frustration and force to leave the club as Borini did.
2) We only have Lampard as CAM and we are looking for Pastore or Neymar now further at Sneijder, may be both. They all are first team players and don't want to sit on the bench even only 2 of them sign or someone else (Pajini, Modric etc..) comes. We have Lampard still. So, don't you think this is going to create problem?
3) We don't have a right defense and we are not much focussed on V D Weil, but more on Godil or Subotic. Chelsea already have 4 C Defense. You said, Terry is slow and Ivanovic may leave any time. But we can't make them sit on the bench, if they stay. Don't you think we should focus on Rt. Defense, not on D. Defense?
3) Zhirkov is leaving (not fixed yet), Molouda is getting old and we still haven't thought of options for Left Wing. De Bruyne is a fabulous player and we're thinking of giving him back on loan, even if he signs.
So, don't you think ED, there is a huge imbalance??
Chelsea@Nepal {Ed001's Note - I don't think Aguero is an option any more, his wage demands meant Chelsea pulled out of a deal. Lampard is slowing down and suffering injuries, he is not expected to play as many games as usual, enough to bleed the new guys gently into the side. Believe me Chelsea are very much trying to get VDW in. Neymar and Pastore will be expected to help cover on the left side.}
Believable0
Unbelievable5
1) I would expect both Anelka and Kalouless leaving, as they want more time on the pitch. Possibility Sturridge as well.
2) Since when is Neymar an attacking mid?
Agree with Ed001, unless Aguero drops his wage demands in half, expect him to go to Citeh, or Barca instead.... unless we sell most of our overpaid pensioners.

Ed,
Chelsea transfer targets of late have been Neymar, Sneidjer, Willian, Pastore and Lukaku.
Given these targets, what you've said about possible and probable departures and the club's apparent desire to get the best out of Torres it seems that we'll still be employing the traditional Chelsea 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1.
Do you think then that Neymar is viewed by Chelsea an option for the "Anelka" right sided winger/forward role in "the front" three or as a direct replacement for Malouda on the left and if so will Malouda assume the Zhirkov squad role in such circumstances or move on?
If Neymar is set for the "Malouda" position, do you think Pastore is being viewed as an option for the "Anelka right sided attacking role or (like Sneijder) attacking central midfield to complement Lampard a la Deco in 2009/10 (with a Mikel type midfielder covering them both in the midfield 3), hence why you believe we won't sign both Sneidjer and Pastore? {Ed001's Note - I think you have it spot on, that Neymar and Pastore are seen as the extra forwards to support Torres. But they will be able to drop into a deeper role if need be.}
