I've been on here a number of times saying Torres needs service and van will come good but today I feel different. I don't think the players want to fight for him. His out his depth, Portuguese league completely different to prem league. I think get guus hiddink in til end season and pray roman can get mourinho back, I know it's not his team but if we don't get top 4 we won't get stars we need

This manager is by far the worst that Roman has had at the club.
While he's sacking this person of a manager, he also needs to sack the advisor's, who keep coming up with these useless money grabbing managers.
He must bring Hiddink in now, otherwise, napoli will knock us out of the CL.
Hiddink will steady the ship, the players love & respect him. We can then decide at the end of the season what to do about a permanant manager.

AVB's press conferences are funny,

'Worst game of the season, worse in every sense of that word", i think we should keep in the shadow as the teams banter man.

Just like o'neil done a rivival at sunderland, we need a new manager to do a revival otherwise goodbye CL footbal for next year.

I know this aint guna happen but if we win champions league does that me we qualify for the cup next year ?

Yes, Liverpool changed the rules when they won it and finished 5th. so if we win it and they finish 4th. no cl for them! {Ed001's Note - actually the rules stated that the winners of the Champions League automatically qualified for the group stages. But UEFA changed it so that Liverpool didn't, and relegated them to the qualifying rounds instead, due to the FA's insistence on getting Everton in as well. The rules were just clarified to stop any country getting a 5th team in.}

So we would still qualify or will uefa say not this time ur chelsea we hate chelsea, if we let u through the ref will be overbo 4 every game {Ed001's Note - if Chelsea win it, they qualify.}

I'm glad u can understand his press conferences b'cos I have no idea what he is saying most of the time.

Well, about 2 month ago i was one of the most optomistic people on here, even earlier today i bet on Torres scoring, that games it for me, im not enjoying being a chelsea fan at all for the first time ever really, i enjoyed it when we were bottom half premier league more than this, had enough of this set of players, play the reserve team for the rest of the season i reckon i would actually enjoy that more than this, AVB has got to go, you just cant be taking Mata off, why do we all know this and the manager doesnt, he isnt the right man to take chelsea forward im afraid, Hiddink back NOW

You have extended patience mate. I gave up on torres after the miss at Norwich. since then he has played worse. Im glad drogba is back, if anyone will fire us into CL for next year it surely rests on him now. Cant play worse.only a positive.

As for AVB he hasn't a clue im afraid. Todays decisions prove what each and everyone one of us are saying. I feel so saddened to see this happening to chelsea.

AVB knew Drogba would be out while playing for his country,its been obvious for months that Torres wasnt up to the job,so why wasnt a forward signed,millions to get AVB,50 million for Torres,what a total waste of money,so who do we get now?,look at us and look at the top 3 sides,were miles behind,think AVB will be sacked this week.

Torres just doesn't get the service how can we expect him to score not even messi would score in our team. Serious changes need to be made. Bring back Hiddink now then Mourinho in the summer.

As usual I completely agree with SHED END. being a chelsea fan sucks, the only thing that made me happy today was bringing on lukaku and bertrand, who both need to be playing far more. ashley cole is one of my fav players but he has been very poor this season. as for avb - unless we get mourinho back, i will still give him another season but at the moment i am far from impressed

Countless times Torres has had the service and still made a mess of it,and Messi makes chances for himself time after time,takes defences on and knows how to score,what a stupid comparison,Torres isnt in the same class,he can share a taxi with AVB.

It's not a comparison it's a fact messi would struggle in our team if Torres played for barca he would score 30+ a season. We are the club that ruins big name players sheva

Nah sorry Torres supporters, a few months ago i would of argued all day Torres would of come good, even now i its hard let go, but i think its 21/22 games now, id fancy myself to get a couple in that many games, there is probably 15 odd other strikers in this league that would of scored at least 3 or 4 during this run. Feel sorry for the bloke, i dont dislike him but we would of been better off just getting a 'defoe' in january to tide us over til summer, The problem with him is, hes not a big hold up powerhouse type striker, and hes not the classic small pacey type striker, hes somewhere between, we'd be better off with any of the other 2 it just isnt fitting

WTF is chelsea doing ,, and AVB can't put together a team to atleast compete everton for a win. Our midfield sucks, no long ball reached a striker all game. It's a shame and this season we may lose our champions league spot ( not "may" , we will lose it )

Just so so bad, our players have no passion or fight, Every single Everton player is closing the ball down as quick as they can, tracking back when the lose it, giving there all for the team, i dont understand why our players dont, this should come as standard, i could cry looking at our bench, nothing there to work with, 4th with this squad will me a MASSIVE achievement, The players just arent fighting for the manager, which leaves us with 2 options, new manager or new players, personally id keep the manager and just play Bertrand and Lukaku every game, start introducing Piazon, if this is a transitional period lets actually do it, were in a horrible situation, i think the clubs attitude is 4th at all costs, but we are sacrificing our future in doing so

I know its very easy to say this, and probably 100% of Prem League managers would say it, but I wish we would have signed Scott Parker in the summer! When you look at our midfield he would be just what we need!
