Well i guess RDM is very clever guy......
Last year when he took chelsea coaching job after AVB was sacked.....
he simply put faith on old guards in that short term......
n old guards paid him back with 2 year deal as chelsea fc coach.....
now he knows if he has to suceed as long term chelsea fc coach he needs to make his own team rather than using jose mourinho's team....
he is now slowly getting rid of some of old guys from the team and decreasing the squad age dramatically.....
he let essein go on loan to real madrid and let merieles go out permanantly to greek club which surprised to many of us ....
which now leaves us with mikel n lampard for pivot role.......
but again he knows he can play romeu, ramires and oscar in that pivot role....
now after so many games it is understood that he has faith in mikel for one the two holding midfielder role.....
we all know when mikel n lampard both plays together they slow down the game....
he kept lampard out against newcastle and played merieles in pivot with mikel n we all saw both were fantastic...
so as that game was one of the best we have till now played.....
we all respect lampard he is our club legend.....
but now i guess someone like ramires or oscar should start ahead of lampard with mikel.....
i guess chelsea are looking towards oscar as deep lying playmaker someone like pirlo rather than using him in no 10 role which might be occupied by mata/hazard....
RDM planning all this slowly n will apply this sooner than later......

No i won't, just watch me, i'll continue to pair Super Frank with Mikel and i will play Ramires at RW. Not sure why the rest of the club wanted Victor Moses, i always thought we were set at RW.

I dont think hes got the minerals to drop lamps for the long term. & if he does lamps will soak & move to america.

Spot on samrat, nice post, hopefully he will gradually phase lamps out of the first team and not just kick him out into the cold as he is such a legend. nice english aswell mate!

Can people stop picking Ramires RW he is a centre mid and ruins the balance of the team, from wide he struggles to get passed a man, cross and his touch is horrible.

If his touch is horrible then he shouldn't be on the pitch, especially in centre mid.

Theere is a difference between a good wingers touch and a centre mid. Mata and lampard for example. Ramires touch is sometimes a bit heavy but his all round game makes up for that. He still does the job better then any of our other centre mods ATM. Played for brazil last night in the pivot and looked good.

Terry will start, he's a real leader.

It's nice to hear Franks view on the youth coming through for England, I only hope he keeps this outlook for Chelsea as well.
