There is no way Di maria is going from Madrid. Barca slipped up last night and Jose is on course to La liga, seen as his squad is not broken I cannot see him fixing it. No chance.

So avb was in Scotland past week now reports he wants jelavic from rangers ,really? We're now looking at spl players that's championship football level he can't be seriouse?

Think you have got this 1 very wrong. He was asked if he rated Jelavic and gave an answer.

Switch Ramires with your midfield new signing and that works.

^why not play him as a CAM?

Just my opinion that he'd bring more to the team playing deeper. He can still break forward using his pace and incredible stamina, but he is also a big time ball winning midfielder.

We'd be better off with someone more offensive in that position with experience playing in wide positions e.g. Di Maria (just an example)

What bout essien? Him Romeu ramires mata behind sturridge and Torres ?

We are facing a tough job to sign the very best creative/goalscoring players from now on.Gone are the days when we could outbid clubs around Europe and Real and Barca have first choice anyway.
The likes of Geotze/Hazard are very unlikely to end up at Chelsea as they have the choice of more attractive financial packages at Citeh maybe PSG with Bayern now able to compete for the best German talent as well.
Plus both these players have already stated they would like to go to Spain.
So we are shopping in the second tier realistically in most cases.
It seems to me we should be looking at Real & Barca cast offs as there is a limit to how many good players they can keep happy if they intend signing the likes of Goetze and Hazard.
The outstanding young Brazilian creative players also seem reluctant to come to the PL with the likes of Ganso/Neymar favouring Spain or Italy.
So we will have to be very clever to rebuild the squad to anything like its power of the last 5 years.

Champion team vs team of champions.
just need to but the right players for our style of play. AVB will do that, all good.

Real Madrid and Barcelona can't have everyone. Realistically they can only afford so many world class players in their squad as players on the fringes will be frustrated and the financial costs of funding all the moves could be too much. Their will always be good enough players wanting a move to Chelsea.

There will always be those greedy, mercenary players that will want big wages to join Chelsea you mean !
