i would take shurrle above cavani he is immense at shooting heading and all round play cavani is a poacher the german for me plus i know its pre season but cavani was norwich bound judging on the olympics not good lol

Seems like a similar overhaul to 2004. Though it should have happened 2 years ago I am definitely not complaining.
We all know what happened after 2004 !
I'd say it is 99 percent sure that we will get a new striker and I'd say roughly 55/60% chance it will be cavani .
Last year for RDM was all about maximising the results out of a iffy squad , and this year will all be about getting the best tactically out of a worldy squad

All big teams have atleast 3 good strikers.
Now as Romelu Lukaku has gone to WBA on season long loan, some where i guess we are close to sign a new striker.
We are now having F. Torres as our main alone striker followed by D. Sturridge who will replace Torres as and when required.
But what if Torres or Sturridge gets injured then that 3rd striker needs to take place.
The departure of Lukaku means guaranteed new striker signing.....
cavani/hulk/schurle/moses!!
Our may be a surprising one which been kept away from media by CFC!!

Ed for a club like Chelsea I can't understand the hold up on players like Azpilicueta and Moses for the sake of 1 or 2 million {Ed002's Note - Ok.}

If that 1 or 2 million could be spent on things such as grassroots and youth development, I can see every reason to be picky over it. Also, we don't want to set a precedent of paying over the odds for anyone, or teams dealing with us will just try and take advantage.

Solid defence,pace and creativity going forward.Hopefully we can sign cavani or hulk to play up top or RW.Moses,decent signing (better than malouda). My choice for RB would be Micah Richards if we could sign him for £15-20m. Only seen Azpilicueta at the Olympics so cannot really comment on him.

I've seen a lot of talk about how josh had a crap loan spell at Swansea but one thing people fail to realize is that he had good players in front of him. Siggurdson was one of the best players the second half of the season and earned a moved to spurs for his efforts. Joe Allen also had a good season and was rewarded with a starting spot for team gb and will get a move to Liverpool. While I will say if he's not a regular starter for them he's not ready to be a regular starter for us I think people don't give Swanseas midfield enough credit and therefore bury josh.

Hi ed I've been hearing that Romelu Lukaku and Thorgan Hazard are going on season long loans to Norwich and are being finalising by this week. I think it is the right thing to do as we have Torres/Sturridge and Hazard can play up top. With Oscar, Lamps, Meireles, Ramires and co I think Thorgan can go out on loan and if they go together that is the best deal for us and Norwich. What have you heard? {Ed002's Note - That is not possible under the EPL rules.}

Moses is young and explosive, he can score goals and put defenses on the back foot. He may not be the greatest but he is fairly cheap, has prem experience and won't be to bothered about being on the bench. For me he is a step up from Kalou.
He loves to attack defenders and take them on
